I bought several pairs of jeans at this location a few days ago. One of the pairs of pants had a tag on it for the cost of four dollars and said it was a T-shirt. When I came to check out I told the clerk that it was tagged incorrectly, and they charged me closer $14 rather than $4 on the tag. When I got home, I noticed that one of the pairs of jeans still had the security tags on it. I had my son try all the jeans on, and one of them did not fit him well. I decided to return to the store to have them remove the security tags from the one pair and exchange the pair of jeans that did not fit my son well. I mistakenly had removed the tag from the jeans that didn't fit him well, but had retained it. I understand it is corporate policy to have the tags on the jeans that I am exchanging, however I think in this case because I was honest about the incorrectly tagged pair (the store's mistake) and the matter of the security tags not being removed (also the store's mistake), it would have been good to bend the corporate rule in favor of a customer for whom the mistakes of this store cost her time and money. I don't live next door to Plato's Closet so I had to come out for the security tags to be removed. I will not shop at this location again and very likely will not return to Plato's Closet at any location. I think the manager could have some training in the human element of customer service, which ought to be taken into consideration alongside the corporate policy when the store makes one or more mistakes that impact the customer. Further, I would like to be able to exchange the jeans but I don't have any hope for that.
