Last year, I moved to the Schaumburg, Illinois area, and I started shopping at Whole Foods Market in Schaumburg. The employees here have the worst attitudes, especially when I shop in the produce section. There's an employee who is an old, fat, bald man who is really rude and most of the staff there just scowls at you and walks away if you ask them for help. At best, they may mumble something and point in a general direction if you need help finding anything. I have never received service that I have considered helpful at this location and especially not in their produce department. One time, an employee actually bumped me with their cart and just kept on walking. The floor is always clogged with carts of produce, usually stacked really high, and sometimes, it's almost impossible to walk in there. It's like the employees who are stocking apples and oranges think that they are not just stocking apples and oranges but building works of art. It would be easy to brush off everyone who worked there was just a teenager with a bad attitude, but everyone who works there seems to be older and just completely immature. I am pretty sure that some of them pride themselves on being smug and rude. How is this customer service? How do these people continue to be employed? If the main function of a retail employee is not to interact with people and not to provide decent customer service then what are they doing here? The attitude you get here is the attitude that you'd expect to see in a warehouse somewhere. I am really tired of the dirty looks and not being helped and I will never spend my money at this location again.
