I went to visit my local Family Dollar store yesterday (4/10/22). I was in there for about 25-30 mins. I asked the associate like 2 questions but needed her help on confirming a price for Lays chips. She was clearly annoyed that I asked her to help and she told me it was not her problem that the price fixture says something different than what the register says. She complained about the Lays chips representatives and how they never update pricing, so she will not manually change the price. That was not the only issue... There were several items that were wrongly priced or the tags were not updated. She admitted to being aware of this. Yet, she was extremely rude in saying it was not her problem and if she were to "fix" all the things that were out of place, it would just be moved again and it is not her job to do that continuously... OK then. That is the worst customer service. This associate has had multiple complaints from other customers and her attitude is terrible! Not to mention, she is lazy. She makes it clear she doesn't want to do her job. That is not an image or message that "Family Dollar" should be sending. Especially with the word FAMILY in the name. I've been to this store quite a few times but I'm usually in and out and don't need assistance, but this experience was awful. I would never want someone to lose their job for anything petty, but this woman should not be up front interacting with customers. Especially if a mystery shopper were to enter and her attitude is like that towards customers.
