Purchased a tie rod end IPC ER6013 on 09/14/2019. Part failed in two weeks rendering a faulty drivetrain and creating emergency remedial measures that required immediate replacement by another vendor and supplier.
Visited store on 11/03/2019 and dealt with a one Cornell. Advised me to come back and speak with a manager if contemplating a refund. My understanding is that he was the manager on shift and had the discretion. I was forced to take a replacement part or anything else of similar value.
I do not need anything else and cannot be forced to take a replacement part I do not need. I got a reprint of my original receipt and departed from the store. I left my part with the store as i refuse to take a faulty part that compromises the safety of my family and vehicle applicants.
At this time O'Rielly took my funds and refused to refund me my monies. I want my money back as I consider this theft. I should not be asked to keep returning to a store at my cost for an issue staff onsite refuse to resolve because they have to meet their sale quota.
Thanks.
