My Name is Joseph Mitchell and I brought a 2021 Chevy Tahoe. After my first service I went to Patrick the Service Manager to buy an Mechanical Repair Service Contract.. On November 20th I took my car for the warranty inspection. I explained to the Service person that I purchase the vehicle and need to have the car inspected for the warranty to take effect. First the service manager asked if the car was being financed for the warranty. I explained and handed him the contract. The contract says I paid $259.00 toward the warranty the rest was financed. He looked at the contract and told me I had to pay $350.00 to complete my warranty inspection. I explained to the Service man that Patrick never told me about payment. The service. After he made sign an agreement for completing my inspection and paying $350. I went out to the Service Manager office but Patrick was not there. So I called his phone extension and left him a message. The Service Manager refused to hear me or ignore every word that came out of my mouth. I brought my car I brought a Mechanical Repair Service Contract.
First I didn't understand why he never read my warranty to see when it was purchase or he didn't care. Then to make the issue worst he told me to go to the finance Dept. I went and again explained to the Financed Manager I don't know why the Service manager asked me to go back to finance. I was upset and mad.
Claimed loss: I waisted my time by asking my wife to pick me up. tHe servicer manager told me it would take a couple of hours. I was there for over an hour. My wife was at the dealership to pick me up. The service manager told me my car was done.
Desired outcome: I want the Service Manager to actually listen to the customer and read the contract that saids that say PAID ! I would like free service as far oil changes and brake service etc
