Crunch Fitness - membership cancellation

In july my daughter and I signed up for memberships online. Went in the facility and was not able to work out on most of the eqipment. The place is overcrowded. We cancelled the next day . all of a sudden they are drafting accounts weekly and the amouts are higher and higher. We were receiving calls from in house collections. I called and they said its nothing they can do simply because we signed up online and we are commited for 90 days. I want the drafts to stop and canellations honored. This is harrassmentand misleading.

Desired outcome: stop drafting payments and cancellations honored.

Crunch Fitness - Personal training services

Signed up for personal training sessions, however, was NEVER began and was not deducted or personal trained (paid session). Cancelled the sessions, as I would be traveling out of the country and to areas that Crunch is not accessible (for regular training). AFTER cancelling I was deducted and refused a refund, even though the cancellation form states "refund IF deducted." I cancelled 6 days PRIOR to the scheduled deduction but was still deducted and refused a refund. I was then told that since deductions had started (which they never should have) that I was now in a 60-day contract with a gym I cancelled personal training with. Every time I call no one is available to speak to me but when I did finally got a call back there are new rules and regulations that were made up. No one can assist with a simple refund. At this point, it is only about the principle and the documentation of cancellation. HORRIBLE experience with the Personal Training area and lack of knowledge between workers. Each time there will is new information or lack of information within one conversation.

Desired outcome: FULL refund of deductions (now two) or the deducted amount credited towards my monthly membership fees. Ensure that I am not deducted for any additional personal training sessions that I do not want and have never used.

Crunch Fitness - Charging me for sessions I canceled

On June 5 I was charged $57 for a personal training session I never had. It is now June 20 and I still have not received my refund. I have went in person to talk to the guy that confirmed my cancellation and also signed the document claiming the last payment was to be on June 9. I have talked to him multiple times asking about the refund and he first told me it would take 24 to 48 hours for corporate to respond and that he would forward it to me. I received no email or phone call. I went in the third time and asked about the email and he was fumbling to find an “email” he then said that it would take a couple days that’s all. The next couple days and nothing.

I decided to call the gym this time and asked for the manager the employee on the insisted I tell them why I would need to talk to the manager and then proceeds to tell me I have to come in person. I did just that and spoke to the manager. They listen to my issue and proceed to do the same thing the previous guy did and just sends an email. This time I ask if I should provide my email or phone number so they could contact me they said, “We have it all right here so there’s no need for that” I thanked her and left. I talked to the manager on June 11 it is now the 20th and there are no emails or phone calls from the gym. I want to cancel my membership if this is going to continue.

I will be crossing out certain things in the document for privacy reasons.

Desired outcome: I want my refund for $57.

Edit: I have additional information to add to this complaint. Just recently I visited my gym location and have been informed that they don’t have control of my refund because it has to come from a third party. I have also tried contacting corporate and their phone number is not available. There is no one else for me to contact. Also, I have been charged again just last night and received and email claiming I signed up for another Kickoff session when I did not.

I have taken it to my bank and have restricted ABC Fitness from taking my money any longer.
