I purchased a Family Chef Charcoal Grill 18.5in. Yesterday at or about 3:04 pm from the Family Dollar on 824 Donald Lee Hollowell, Store # 06501. Not even an hour later, I returned to the same Family Dollar, with my receipt in hand asking for a refund because I wasn't satisfied with the quality of the product. I did not use any portion of the grill and all contents were enclosed. I was told that I could not get a refund because the box was open. Clearly, your website states that a refund may be obtained if I am not satisfied and have my receipt. A BBQ grill is not an electronic, a heater or a fan, yet your inadequately trained, ignorant employees, have no real understanding of basic business practices and think that it is.
Your website states that heaters, fans and electronics, if open cannot be returned; however, a grill is certainly not either of the aforementioned. As you will note, I am entitled to a full refund and not a store credit, but to have my funds refunded to my debit card. Please contact me immediately at 470.276.2008 or via email: [protected]@gmail.com - so that I may return this poorly made BBQ grill and get my money back.
