Ace Lord was neutered on April 26, 2023. Banfield put a Cone collar on Ace to prevent him from licking the incision. I was told not to take it off. On the 4th day Ace start falling on the floor as I took him out of his crate and acting as if he was in pain. I gave him his medicine and on the 5th day out he was acting worse. I called Banfield and the told me to bring him in on the 6th day. It turned out that the Cone was on to tight and it cut into his neck and it was infected. I just got a call and I'm told that the treatment is going to cost me $540.72 plus another visit and that will cost me $67.00. I was also told that I should have taken the cone off. I didn't notice the cone was too tight. East Point (Camp Creek), GA. Pet Hospital was negligent in puting collar on Ace that was too tight/small for his neck and I'm being charged for their negligence. I have to get him taken care of. So, I'll have to pay today, But, I'll be sueing for my money back if Banfield doesn't take responsibility for this and just return my money or don't charge me.
Desired outcome: Since, this was negligence on Banfield's part, I would like not to have to pay $540.72 and the $67.00 for the rebandaging visit or I would like a refund of my money.
