My wife and I often get treated disrespectfully by these employees when we inform them of her chronic illness and her dairy allergy (we respectfully request that gloves be changed as a single shred of cheese will cause her anaphylaxis), but this time the server seemingly lost control of their actions as they filled the bowl with cheese before throwing at (not into) a trash can hard enough that it exploded all over the wall and floor. They proceeded to remake the bowl (incorrectly again) leaving it with the cashier before walking off into the back area rolling their eyes and making comments to other employees. Another server witnessed the event and volunteered to remake the bowl. I was speechless. Guests behind me were shocked and apologized to me that that had happened.
My wife has struggled most of her life with severe allergies to dairy, wheat, gluten, eggs and almonds with multiple life threatening incidents resulting in hospital visits. Chipotle has been one of the few places where we have been able to eat a full meal together as long as we insure there is no cross contamination. If we ever experience costumer service this bad again they will never see our business again. The employee that remade her bowl is the one redeeming factor about this experience.
Desired outcome: We desire for this never to happen to us or anyone ever again.
