This evening, I had the unfortunate experience to be picking up an order, as we frequently do. The driver (lit up sign on her car roof made that clear) pulls up next to me, into the open handicap space. *Please note, there were multiple open spaces all around us, including non-handicap spaces occupied by other Domino's cars.
When I politley pointed out the handicap sign, and said she could get a ticket for parking there, she proceded to say "I am f****** working!" Normally this would not have bothered me, but she did so in front of my 19 yr old Autustic teenager.
When I then exited my car, to go in and pick up my order, this driver precedes me into the store saying "Come on in Karen!"
She then says to her coworkers "Look, we have a Karen!"
At this point, I was beyond irritated, so yes, I did ask for the manager.
I am still not sure if the first person who came to speak to me was a manager, or if the second one was either, but neither even acknowledged my concern that their driver was parked illegally, nor how rude their associate was being to a customer. When I pointed out the other empty spaces, and the other drivers parking correctly, the driver shouts from the back "So I'm lazy, sorry!"
When I then asked to verify the store #, the driver (Named Lacey) proceeds to shout from the back "I hope they fire me, they would be doing me a favor!"
I have to say, her rudeness was upsetting enough, but the total lack of concern from your staff, really dissapointed me!
It is obvious that this store (#8641) has had a serious issue with having sufficient drivers on staff, causing us to have to order take out, rather than delivery, but to have to deal with this kind lack of customer service has me seriously considering no longer ordering from this chain.
In addition, having a special needs teen, as well knowing the struggle many of my disabled family members face. when the alloted parking spaces are in fact taken up by non-hadicapped drivers, I am sorely tempted to report this to the locasl chapter of the ADA.
Desired outcome: Management and staff (Drivers) need to be retrained on actual acceptable customer service, at the very least!~
