Public Storage

I have been trying to get my belongings from storage. I started calling August 1st thru August 7th left many messages with no return calls. When someone finally answered the phone, they stated they were short on employees. They have now cut my lock and put theirs on because they want me to pay $405.89 for the month of August. I would have been out by the 4th of August. I don't think I should have to pay for the whole month. This company doesn't care about the customers. I would appreciate any help I can get to resolve this issue.
