View all 181 complaintsFlorida Department of Revenue - I requested a paternity test on a child support case from. 1975.
I went into the office located at 2205. La. Vista. Dr. In Pensacola. Fl. I had. Questioned the woman in booth. 10. About a paternity test. I had learned in the last couple of weeks while applying for veterans benefits that. I was not around when she got pregnant. I requested a paternity test. Upon being sued for child support from 1975. The response was. We are not going to help you prove a [censored]. Child and that it should have been done. 51. Years ago. Now I believe that the response was uncalled for and unprofessional. Also. I had found out. The dor had changed a hearing date from. Dec. 11th 2019. To dec. 17th and I had not even been notified. Her response to that was. Well it says here the 17th and that I would either be left a message on wife's phone or should have been mailed a copy. I informed her that had. I not called thallahassee. I would not have known. Further. More she told me about her mother sueing her dad after. 50 years ago. And that it was my responsibility to pay. One thing I tried to tell her was. That I had paid every. Month in 1975. Until the mother took child and left without a word to the child support where I was paying faithfully. I feel like I was disrespected by her comment. Because it was not her job to give me her opinion of a [censored] child in front of other people. There. I feel like she was judging my character which. I served 10. Years in the navy defending this country. I do believe this department is prejudice against men and they are very rude and disrespectful. I sat in waiting area and heard other conversations where they were rude to another man. I would like a explanation as to why I had to receive this kind of treatment. Email.
