Bob Evans

We recently went to the Bob Evans located at 4985 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL 34470 Friday, October 27, 2023 for dinner. We had our two little grandsons with us. We went in, put in our name and waited - not long. Hostess went to seat us at a table and the waitress stated "I can't" then proceeded to have a discussion with the hostess out of earshot near the table we were going to sit at. Needless to say we were then seated at another table near that one with a different waitress. We waited and waited, finally I went up and asked who our waitress was. Finally she appeared to take our order.

In the meantime the table we were to have orginally with the waitress who said "I can't" had other customers seated at it! She was nice as pie to all her customers at that table as well as her others.

This is not the only issue with this restaurant. At times you have to wait because kitchen is backed up, food served cold, etc.

Our grandsons like this place because of the potato soup or they can get breakfast at night. But at this point we will not return to this particular location due to the rudeness of the staff and the way it is run.
