I reported this incident one week ago to the Hospitality Group guest comments but no one responded to that posting. So, I will try again on this complaint board. My wife and I visited the Ruth's Chris restaurant for what I had hoped would be a special anniversary dinner on 4/16/2019. We arrived for our 6:45 pm reservation and were promptly seated. It then took over 10 minutes before our waiter "Max " greeted us. He then took our drink orders and it took another 10+ minutes for my wife to get her wine order. It appeared to me that Max was serving too many larger tables which seemed to get most of his attention. The appetizers came out fairly quickly but unfortunately we had to send one of the steaks back that was over cooked. I have visited this location many times with larger groups in your private room and the service was very good. I also visit your location in Virginia Beach where I get excellent service. At the dinners end it also took much too long to receive the check causing our dinner to run 2 hours.I reported this incident to the manager the next day and he sort of blew me off and said he would talk to Max. I frequent your restaurant because I expect a Ruth's Chris type of dining experience which I did not receive on my anniversary.
