This complaint is in regard to no action being taken on initiated claim #3779 C and just a head up that legal action is soon to follow. Both the POA and attorney have been in contact with MofA on multiple occasions to report dearth of a relative and begin process of paying our beneficiaries. After a claim # was provided, we were instructed to wait 6–8 weeks for processing forms and further instructions, which after three months have not arrived.
Neither PoA or attorney have received the processing forms. Furthermore, they do not answer their phone after we enter the deceased social security and date of birth details into their automated phone system at [protected], option #5. For the past four calls we have been on hold for more than an Hour each time and nobody answers. Safe to say at this point, this company is delaying payouts while the market is on an upswing, causing financial harm to beneficiaries in the meantime who are awaiting opportunity to apply and receive payouts.
Judging by the low percentage of resolves complaints, I’d say class action is in order…
