Good evening:
My complaint is around a Westlake queen complete bedroom set in which we paid over $4, 000.00. We started the order process back in September 2020 and after many attempts to receive information and changes in shipment dates, we council the order in January 2021 and received a refund. in February 2021 we again saw then furniture on sale but at a higher price and since we liked the Westbrook decided to reorder at the increased prx. We were informed that the furniture would be in April but actual arrival in July. Upon inspection numerous problems were discovered including circles around the nobs on the dresser, drawer not complete stuck etc. Reported to Customers services at the site, tech sent but he didnot correct the problem. This was reported to the store here in Newark, De and they were to order a new set would be delivery in October. However, later in August we were told they had gotten in a new set and it would be delivered in August 2021. We received 2 e-mail stating our new set would be delivered between 3:15-5 pm on August 11. We spent the day getting items removed from the bedroom to guest bedroom in anticipation of furniture arrival. We waiting until approx 6:00 and called store and was told we were 3 on the list. Called again after 7 pm and was told drivers had reached their daily time and would have to reschedule. At no time did anyone call to inform what was going on. It was after 8 pm before we called an was told delivery is scheduled for August 12, 2021 between 8 and 11 am. we spent a total of $6, 000.00 foe this furniture including mattress and feel we were not treated with respect by management or customer service. This was and is unacceptable and I donot believe we are getting what we paid for. AWAITING YOUR RESPONSE
