BidCactus - Online SCAMS

On 12/2/2013 21:19 PST I filed the claimed disputed the transaction via "PayPal Resolution Center" after I had been very frustrated with BidCactus. I would like to get the full refund for all the purchase I had made at your website, as on their site indicated that "Satisfaction Guarantee", which is totally a lie!
I didn't realized what I got myself into, this is the biggest scam. At first I was looking to purchase the iPad on Craigslist, the seller reply to my respond of his post that he just sold it (within 10minutes after he posted). But he mentioned on his reply that he got such a great deal at Bidcactus.com purchased the iPad in such a dirt cheap price. I quickly check it out, registered and try with the Free Bid Auction as that was the 1st trap to get the customers hooked. My purpose was to get iPad, I did give it a try...been watching couple of iPad auctions and try to figure it out the timing and strategy of how to get it, while I was accumulating the bids with mostly the Free Bid Auctions, so I would have enough bids to compete with those Expert Bidders.
I am so regret and feel so stupid that I believed the Craigslist reply that Bidcactus is using as the marketing tool to get those genuine people who are looking to purchase items, who have no idea about this marketing scam. I already called and send email to Customer service, with no respond.

However; PayPal couldn't help me afterall. PayPal Resolution Center closed my 29 cases after I kept posting comment on my cases' status, with no single respond from BidCactus customer service at all. It took over 20days for me to escalated my 29 disputes to Claim Cases! But took PayPal literally 10-15 minutes to investigate and closed those cases
The reason PayPal gave me; stated "After careful consideration", was "It was Virtual Transaction/ Intangible product". Those words are the secret shield that both BidCactus & PayPal are using to fool customers!

I could understand why PayPal would rather protect one of their biggest merchant account; GAMBLE with individual money! Very very disappointing.

There was an auction for 100$ Visa Card and a User named "PoorMax" was bidding from 3$ till 36$ while I'm typing this review (auction was still running). User has easily crossed more than 1500bids which amounts to 1200$ worth of bids for a 100$ giftcard. So clearly it is autobid from BIDCACTUS. No one in the hell would bid like that. Please stay away from this website.

I was looking on Craig's list for a used or new Kindle Fire, there was a new one advertised for 79.50 new in the box, so i emailed for more info they responded by saying they just sold it and this was her 3rd one she sold.she was buying them for 20 to 45 dollars on bidcatus.com So of course I open an account and spent 200.00 trying to buy one now i now i was baited in to trying a ponzi scheme.

Simply avoid them. They are scamers. They have some paid employee who will make dummy bids, so that not a single items(specially expensive ones) is own by normal bidders unless they make sure the total bid cost is more then the item value.
Just wastage of money. I realized after wasting $1000. Enough is enough! Never visit them.

A legitimate auction or auction site does not charge to bid and allows you to bid an amount that you choose. When I looked at the website I was immediately turned off by having to pay to bid and the fact that bids only raise the price a maximum of 1 to 10 cents. It becomes obvious that the site makes most of its money via the bid charges.

.They finally closed their doors still owing thousands of items people have paid for and not received yet. I have been watching them since Dec 2013 and they literally have had over one thousand auctions listed and bidders paid their wins and Bidcactus gladly took knowing they are not going to fulfill the orders.

The whole deal with this site is a total rip off. It should be shut down! Too many people bidding on almost nothing with just about no chance of winning anything.

I purchased some bids and bid on a gift card almost a month ago. I have not received the gift card yet. I have tried to contact Bidcactus.com several times and keep getting some lame excuse. These guys are shady as it gets.

As soon as you enter a credit card # to possibly buy bids, your card is charged! Between bidding and autobidding, I sat and watched my money go down the drain. This type of online auction should be illegal. Numerous attemps to get my money back for unused bids (as promised on their website) have gone unanswered.

This is a scam site. I never even register with them, yet they manage to be sending me their crap. Think about it, $0.75 on $0.01 plus the final cost of whatever, plus shipping and handling. Are people's brain also gone into recession/depression? How in the world can people actually fall for this nonsense.

SCAM ALERT! THIS "PENNY AUCTION" SELLS BIDDING RIGHTS @ $.75/BID, TO BID AN ADDITIONAL PENNY ON AN ITEM. THEN A "ROBO-BIDDER" OUTBIDS YOU IMMEDIATELY. WATCH AND OBSERVE...I DID! THEY ALMOST GOT ME!

BidCactus - ripped off

It started by I answered an ad on Criagslist for a Apple 4gs cell phone. My wife also answered the ad and got the same message.

I received an email saying: Hi,

Someone just bought this from me, but I can tell you where I got it from.I just purchased 3 of these from pennyrights.com and I resold them on craigslist for some extra money. The trick is to watch for bidding to slow down and then jump in. That's what I do and I win all the time.

Once I signed up for $79.00 which came out of my paypal.com account. I recieved bids for bidding on a Apple 4GS cell phone and other merchandise. The bids went fast trying to buy the cell phone and I didn't win . I took another $75.00 out from paypal.com to pay bidcactus for more bidding chances. That went faster. I found out buying bids to bid on merchandise and electronics, I could have been bidding against bidcactus.com ?

They took my information and before I could purchase anything, they took 79.95 out of my credit card. I called immediatly, the gal was very degrading and disrepectful. I was ripped off by this company and would never recommend anyone to use it!
