I have three pair of prescription glasses for reading. I received the prescription exam at the Visionworks 1242 S Hover St, Ste C200, Longmont, CO 80501. Subsequently I purchased three pairs of reading glasses with this prescription. One pair has a plastic "Guess" brand frame that was sold to me as "more rugged". This is the pair that I wear on a day to day basis. The right temple hinge broke three days ago. I called Visionworks today, Saturday, Dec. 14 at 13:45. The person on the phone addressed me by my first name and I was impressed that their computer system recognized my number. A nice touch. The lady on the phone said to come over and they'd help me. I drove over and waited to be helped. A younger male came over and asked if he could help. I showed him the broken temple hinge and I immediately sensed that he was less than interested. After explaining what I was looking for, more rugged and robust frames, he said "look around and maybe you'll see something". He walked away, over to chat with another male Visionworks employee and they went into the back of the store. This employee could have cared less about helping me. After about 10 minutes of looking at frames and developing multiple questions, it was obvious that I was on my own. I left the store. I will not be going back. Ever. I'm completely finished with Visionworks. All it takes is one [censored] employee to lose a customer. My advice to anyone considering to buy glasses at Visionworks is: DO NOT. Find another store. There are many.
