Starbucks - Barista was weird

Hi,

I am a regular at Starbucks.
This evening I visited the Starbucks at the following address:
4800 E Baseline Rd, Boulder, CO 80303

The Barista there was very kind/wierd to use her forefinger and explain to me that I cannot get a roll of quarters without buying anything at the store. I am in agreement with the proposal, but was wondering if using the forefinger to explain how a card is inserted and letting a customer know that would not get her any money was an appropriate thing to do.

I am writing this to help Starbucks because the company is one of the best coffee shops I have tried and would want it to be there for years to come.
