I purchased a BRAND NEW 2019 GMC Canyon Denali from Short Line GMC in Aurora on 6/1/19 w/39 miles. After a few weeks of driving it we noticed a "squealing" from under the cabin. Unable to get it look at by Wilcoxson until Oct 10th, 2019 they couldn't hear the noise when we took it in the 1st time and the truck was only at about 4300 miles. Brought the vehicle back, they were able to replicate the sound and said it was the front drive shaft. It has been replaced after a month of waiting for the part. Had it fixed on a Friday and within 1 hour the "squealing" was back. Took it back the next day (Saturday) and they stated the front drive shaft was bad again... so they took out the front drive shaft and I drove the truck for almost 2 weeks without the front drive shaft w/only 2wd and the "squealing" still continues. I asked if I could bring the truck in to have it evaluated and was told to wait until the part was in... Even though this part had nothing to do w/the "squealing". The shop has been able to hear the squealing but not always able to get it to replicate when I take it in b/c it must be warmer than 40 degrees out and the truck has to be warmed up after 10 plus appointments. It sounds like a drive line seal that needs replaced. After numerous videos of the "squealing" and no resolution I set up a case number w/GMC Customer service on 1/27/20 about the issue and got my advisor Robert. The last time I spoke w/Robert was 1/31/20... His manager Mikayla contacted me 2/4/20 with and update and stated I would hear back Thursday (2/6/20) with another update and compensation for my troubles (Mikayla offered this I did not ask for it), which I never got. The last call I got from them was 2/4/20 and I have reached out since 2/13/20 every day requesting a call back, even leaving Robert ext. 5910988 a Voice Message w/the my issue and concern w/no return call on 2/14/20. I called again 2/14/20 requesting his supervisor Mikayla calls me back, which also never happened. I called again today 2/17/20 requesting a call back from ANYONE requesting a call TODAY 2/17/20 and still after 5 hours NOTHING! This is the WORST customer services and company I have ever dealt with! All I wanted was a call back since I have not spoken to anyone w/GMC since 2/4/20 but this is too much to ask. I have keep everything written down in a note book with all my communication and text messages w/the dealer ship and videos with the squealing issue. I have owned many brands in the past and this was my 1st Brand New GMC Purchase and will NEVER make this same mistake. They have wasted my Subaru trade and I purchased additional WRAP coverage for this giant piece of JUNK truck. This truck is a True LEMON in my book if they can't fix the issue in a timely manner! Since GMC is unable to resolve the issue after several months it's not worth keeping! I just want my money back to get rid of this truck and not have this Inconvenience anymore! This is not what I purchased when I gave up my AWD! I want my Subaru back!
