This complaint is in regards to store #9515. First of all, is it the policy of all Family Dollar stores to close down for 2-3 hours to stock items that the delivery truck has dropped off? Secondly, we went to this particular store at approximatly 8:30 this morning. We asked about Clorox wipes and paper towels. The white female cashier told us that the delivery truck would be at that store and that they would have to shut it down for 2 hours. She told us to come back at noon. We did just that. The store was not open NOR did they have any type of signage on the door letting us know why the doors were locked. Is this proper customer service and a new store model? Another customer knocked on the door and a big wig, dark skinned, a lot of extra make up wearing sales associate came to the door and refused to let us in. She said the delivery truck just got there and we could not come in. I asked her if she could let us know if we should come back in an hour or two, she got snippy and smart. She rudely told us she did not know. I told her this was our second trip there. Mind you, my husband and I are senior citizens. She had no respect for that. It is enough that we came out twice to this store, but now we may have to go back a 3rd time? This is absolutely nuts! Please somebody check into this ridiculousness!
