I keep telling the management at my store that I feel like my health will be at risk if I were to perform this task they needed me to do.
They had a septic backup in the bathroom, management decided to leave it sitting there for a couple days prior to me coming into work and expected me to clean the floor which was caked with nothing but fecal matter.
I'm pretty sure that is was even more toxic than that because they had used 3 bottles of bleach to attempt to "clean it."
The fact that they tell me that I have the right to refuse to do that task if I wish, then going behind my back to write me up for "disobedience towards management staff."
The date this all took place was 2/6/21 and 2/7/21.
Desired outcome: I'd like all of management at Dollar Tree store #2575 to be held accountable for that mess and actually call a professional to get it situated rather than having us lowly employees clean it due to their complacency.

Wow disgusting
One time when I was training someone in a DC, I ran across a fresh pallet that had just been filled by a lift driver that had a broken open container of dog food on it that had maggots crawling out of it. This means the lift driver had licked that package up and instead of dealing with it left it for the next person. I got on the radio to call hazmat to take care of it, a manager asked what it was so I described in detail. She told me I can clean that myself. Right next to someone on their first day btw.
