UPS - Notary Signature by UPS employee was rejected by CA Sec of State Notary Public

On 11/20/2020 I had an affidavit notarized at UPS Store # 6455 in Soquel, CA.

The CA Sec of State, Notary Public Section, rejected my document in their letter dated 12/14/2020 stating that "The notary public signature on the acknowledgement we have on file does not correspond to the notary signature on the acknowledgement /jurat submitted with your document."

Today, 12/26/2020, I took the letter and my documents back to the UPS Store and when I showed the State's letter to the store manager, he became very defensive and rude and asked me how many times have I signed my signature differently, etc. He offered to fix the problem and continued to carry-on loudly that I had to tell him to stop yelling at me and lower his voice. I was the customer who had a complaint and the store manager was more upset than I was, raised his voice as he tried to talk on top of me and my wife.

I respectfully suggest that you look into this as I have a suspicion that a UPS Store employee might be signing/ notarize-stamping documents without state credentials while using someone else's notary commission number and stamp. The defensive and rude behavior of the store manager and the CA Sec of State's afforementioned letter appear to support my suspicion.

Trust you will l look into this as well as encourage your employee to improve his customer relationship and send him to anger management class as his negative behavior towards us - two seniors, aged 75 +- demonstrated today. He must not have heard that the customer is always right.

Please be advised that we are also filing a complaint with the CA Secretary of State Notary Public Section as the signature anomaly generated from your store delayed our transaction.

Thank you.
