Could not find a working customer service number until a few days ago coming across this complaint board. The incident happened on Halloween around 3:00 pm. Chipotle was having a special on burrito bowls so I placed an online order with some other items. Went to checkout and it said having issue processing payment. Tried again, same message. Tried another time with a different card, same message again. Decided to try 1 more time, and the charge went through. There was no order confirmation and no order to be found in my account. Checked my credit card and the charge os there.
Decided to go in store to find out what happened and maybe they have my order. While waiting, one worker makes an announcement that they are aware of the online ordering issue and to contact corporate for a refund. They honored the promo price on the bowl in store.
Called customer service today. They tried to find my transaction and it says does not exist. I said I got charged and the order did not go through because there is no order number. She said they could not do anything about it. What the heck!?! They were aware of the issue and not even making it up to the customers with at least a discount for a future order?
Server has crashed before for other online promotions. But that is a story for another time.
