Samsung

So our Samsung refrigerator that we bought for about $3500 stopped working entirely three weeks after the five year warranty expired. We called them up and told them they should fix it since it's like a car that's completely worthless a couple of weeks after the warranty expires. Nobody would ever buy such a car. So they sold us an extended warranty for $345. After sending four different firms out over a month, they concluded that it's not worth fixing. So now they decided to refund our $345. To which I said they're just running a scam. If Samsung sells us the warranty but has no intention to honor it any time the repair is expensive, what they're saying it will only sell your warranty if the warranty repairs are less than what you paid us. Otherwise we'll just borrow your money for free until we give it back.
