T.J. Maxx

I found a Steve Madden bag today and fell in love, adjustable handle so it could be hand carried, shoulder carried or cross body. As I was placing in my cart I noticed the big leather tassel on the side had apparently fallen off so the store took a zip-tie and reattached it. I took it with me to check out and showed the girl and asked if they would possibly reduce the price by a few dollars, she asked the manager and the manager said " why does she think she should get it discounted" loud enough for me to hear her, I said when I cut the zip-tie off I will lose part of the bag and an accessory that made the bag look cute, she said "you are not getting any discount" and threw the bag down and walked away, I was embarrassed by her rude comment and unprofessional behavior, I was not trying to be cheap, I had a cart full of clothing which I did purchase but left without a bag I loved because of her. 9-7-2019, in my opinion the bag should have already been discounted as it was damaged.
