Love's Travel Stop

Today we arrived around 8:02 am because we were out of diesel. I purchased An item Dep for my truck which was $18.00 plus some change and I Gave the cashier $100 cash and stated the rest of my change on pump #4. I waited outside about 10min and the pump was not working. My sister went inside to kindly ask the cashier what was happening with pump number 4? She stated someone pumped Gas I believe she was a bit confused, however she called over Tony the manager. He went into his office to check what happened to pump number 4. He came back very rude stating that there was nothing he can do about it because the cashier gave us change of $81.23. Mind 40 mins have passed he’s accusing us of taking the money back when the cashier never gave us a receipt. He stated at first that someone had already pumped gas, which couldn’t be us because we have a diesel truck. His second excuse was that the cashier handed someone back the change of $81.31. I am really upset because I am a very honest person and Tony made me feel like if I was trying to steal from Loves when In reality all I was trying to do was get diesel because I still have a 6hour drive home. It’s disgusting how people will. Judge you based on your race. I feel discriminated to the fullest. At the end I made him fix the problem because I was not going to let my money go to waste since he stated “there’s nothing I can do about it, someone already pumped GAS”. I even showed Tony a picture of the pump that got Gas before me which was $60.00 so that he can believe me. I really hope they fix this problem and learn to not judge a book by it’s cover. The worst experience ever at Loves and we have been faithful to loves for more than 5years every time we travel. I feel loves should value more their loyal customers.
