On August 13, 2023 I called to book a room for November, I asked specifically for a room with a "roll in shower" as my son is a below the knee amputee. I was told the room did have a "roll in shower" so I booked the room. I called again on October 5, 2023 to verify the reservation and again asked about the "roll in shower" and again was told yes it did have a "roll in shower". We arrived on November 23, 2023 and after I paid with my credit card was told the room did NOT have a "roll in shower" so they knew it was requested, but did have a shower chair. Well, it did have a shower chair that didn't fit in the tub, my son had brought his own shower chair that did fit, so we thought it might work. We were wrong the shower chair provided by the hotel did not have cross braces and when my son tried to use it to transfer from the tub to the provided chair outside the tub it started to collapse, I had to go in and help him. This could have been a bad accident. I know I should have taken pictures, that is my error.
Desired outcome: I would like an apology and for the staff to have more knowledge of what a roll in shower is and why it is necessary.
