U.S. Waterproofing review: Basement waterproofing

I entered into a contract with US Waterproofing in May to address three separate areas of water leakage in my basement. A contractor came to my home, inspected the basement, identified the problem areas, and prepared a contract for the necessary repairs. The work was subsequently completed.

Unfortunately, about a month later, following a significant rainstorm, all three areas began leaking again, and my basement took on water.

I began contacting US Waterproofing in mid-July to report the problem and request that they come back and address the failed repairs. A second inspection was eventually completed in mid august, but since then, I have had to make multiple calls and follow-up attempts and have received little to no communication. No meaningful resolution or timeline for correcting the problem has been provided.

This has been extremely frustrating. I paid to have three areas of my basement waterproofed, and the same three areas are still allowing water into my home. What is even more disappointing is the lack of communication and follow-through after the company was notified of the problem.

I chose a professional waterproofing company because I expected the work to be done correctly and, if there was a problem, for the company to stand behind its work and promptly make it right.

At this point, I would not recommend US Waterproofing based on my experience. The quality of the repair and, especially, the lack of customer service and follow-up have been very disappointing. I hope the company takes responsibility for the failed repairs and provides an appropriate resolution.
