URS (United Recovery Systems) review: False information, lies, harassment 2

Back in 2009 I had a car repossessed due to unemployment and the inability to pay on it. The car was ultimately auctioned off for $10, 000. URS contacted me regarding a payment plan for $250 per month for 24 months and then my debt would be considered settled. Since I had always paid my bills I was very relieved to hear this and agreed. By then I had gotten employment (although not much) but I would be able to live with $250 for the next 2 years. The rep told me VERY CLEARLY that the debt would be clear and that if I could come up with an amount before the 2 years was up I could try to settle for less. Well, I couldn't, and fast forward to almost the end of the 24 month period and now URS is saying that the 2 years thing was not the settlement of the debt but just an agreement for 2 years!

As far as I'm concerned, I'm holding to what the rep told me about the $5000 and I will have settled my debt to them by March. Has anybody experienced this? The lady that is now calling me is really rude. (naturally the nice guy that I spoke with is not there anymore, or they transfer accounts to meaner people as they try to get more money out of you. I'm thinking that they re trying milk as much out of me as they can, since the lien holder had already auctioned off the car a long time ago.
