Like MUCH ELSE here in DC I have found that this "health care" center is NOT reliable. I went several times to its dental clinic in 2020-22 for simple teeth extractions and EACH TIME they REFUSED to do it, referring me out instead to oral surgeons. When they refused to do one in 2020 during the "pandemic shutdown", I was forced to go to another institution to have it done where, THEY RECKLESSLY if not MALICIOUSLY MAIMED my mouth by the unnecessary and EXTENSIVE REMOVAL of dental socket bone!
As a result, I am suing that institution and requested POST-operative X-ray images made by Unity dental staff at several subsequent visits there. It turns out the ones they gave me are DATED LATER AFTER the incident BUT SHOW the PRE-operative condition of my mouth with the SAME TEETH and the bone STILL INTACT! And I can tell this for a FACT because one of the teeth had a root canal insert which shows up FLAGRANTLY on X-ray images! UNITY is apparently willing to commit PERJURY to COVER UP for another unaffiliated institution's malfeasance! THIS is INCREDIBLE!
When I complained about it I was told by the administration to GET A SUBPOENA for the records!

When they refused to do it in 2020 during the "pandemic shutdown" I was forced to go to Washington Medstar Hospital's oral surgery clinic where, they BOTCHED my mouth by PERMANENTLY MAIMING it with UNnecessary and EXTENSIVE REMOVAL of the dental socket bone as well as the teeth; thereby creating a LARGE GAP where there should STILL be bone! As a result i am engaged in suing Washington Medstar.
The problem with UNITY is that I need several POST-incident X-ray images from them made during subsequent examination visits to prove to the judge the present condition of my mouth as a result of the damage. When Unity provided the images, they were DATED to the times of the later visits BUT they SHOWED the PRE-operative condition of my mouth! And I KNOW this for a FACT because the SAME TEETH that were REMOVED resulting in the bone loss are shown as STILL present. And it is a CONSPICUOUS DECEPTION they are doing in apparent COLLUSION with Washington Medstar because one of the teeth that were REMOVED had a root canal insert in it that SHOWS VERY CLEARLY in the X-ray images! When I complained to their administration about it, they told me to get a SUBPOENA for the ACCURATE records!
