Ultra Lean Green Tea offers a free trial online (you only pay shipping and handling). But you are then charged about $70/month for a monthly subscription that you are automatically signed up for. You can cancel this by calling the company number that appears on your credit card bill. Even when you call, they will try to coerce you into another deal to reclaim some of your lost money (a deal that actually costs you additional money). All in all, a harsh wake-up call to the dangers of buying items online and releasing you credit-card info.

Any time I see weight loss claims on a website I always do a search to see if people agree, disagree, etc. I'm so glad I found this site because I definitely won't be ordering from this place. Guess I'll have to lose weight the old fashioned way.

This is a scam plain and simple. I was suspicious when I did not receive an order confirmation by email like other companies. I was billed for shipping & handling and received product 2 weeks after. Just got my CC statement with 2 charges for $69.87 and I have not received any product. Tried calling but office not open as yet. Disputed bothe charges with my CC company. Will see what happens. Tell all of your friends not to fall for this!

omg... i'm worried///
because after i ordered the free sample... i read these comments
so i immediately called them to cancle my order and they did////
and few weeks later i got the free sample.. which means that my order didn't get cancled////
what kind of ###ing thing is that!
so i'm gonna check to call if my further order is cancled and if it is, then i'm going to cancle that and call them back again to make sure... so ###in pissed off//

The package I received didn't have their info on it. Just the name. Today I came home and went to check my bank account to find it 69.78 short...I am sooo ticked off. I canceled with this number...thankyou!

I hope people find the truth about this site rather than get scammed...ooohhh!

Always check for complaints on the internet before you order
FREE or any stuff. It is easy to find complaints if there any.

Just received another jar of this "Ultra Lean Green Tea" that I did NOT order. Not looking forward to watching another hickup in my debit card. Trying to get in touch with the company. At least this time I was able to leave a message. I hope they call me back.

Just received this in the mail today and asked my husband if an invoice came with it- NOPE. I had to actually google them up to get a phone number and just came upon this board. I just finished reading the terms and conditions on the very bottom of the home page and apparently, they'll be charging the card i used $69.87 for the so called FREE sample. They'll be hearing from me first thing in the morning!
BTW, if anyone else needs to tussle with this people, here's their info.

I called the #[protected] to send my FREE 30 day trial, yeah right! back and asked for their physical address so that I can ship it and track it to the location because the next thing they will say is that they charged me because they didn't get their product back and was told the only address they have is the PO Box 2003, this is BS! I will go to the post office and send it back with some kind of return receipt so i know that they received this product back. I cancelled within 30 minutes of my order and then 1 week later there it is in my MAILBOX! WTF...They are ridiculous and need to be shut down. You should be able to have their physical address to ship it back. I was told "Oh just stick it in the mail return to sender" I said Yeah right and you will say you never got it back! I am going to get this delivered one way or the other with some kind of return ticket so I KNOW THEY GOT IT AND I AM CALLING MY BANK RIGHT NOW SO THEY DONT TRY TO TAKE $70 bucks from me...I DO NOT trust them at all even though I called and cancelled this order 3 times!

I didn't read the terms and conditions...
i realized that I might get myself in a headache so i decided to cancel right away (10 minutes after ordering and reading a whole buch of stuff)!
the rep was polite... but there is no S&H refund...

"Customer shall have three (3) days from the initial billing to call and cancel Ultra Lean Green’s service and receive a full refund. Shipping and Handling fees are non-refundable."

lesson learned!
:)

Actually, you are very wrong... When you go to order this suppliment it says in fine print right under the "I AGREE" box. I was confused as well at first. I did the smart thing and called and the person on the phone had no problem explaining it to me. You cannot be lazy with this and yes, you do need to keep an eye out but all you have to do is write down the dates that you ordered, the 14th day after, and the 30 days after ordering. Its not rocket science. It's just a little work in order to get something free.
I havent tried the tea yet, i actually just ordered it today but people should know that when they give out thier credit card number, THEY SHOULD READ THE FINE PRINT!

I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau today.
Perhaps more should do the same. We'll see how they handle it.

I ordered the green tea on Aug. 2 and I hadn't looked for complaints. I knew that they would keep on charging me if I didn't actually call and cancel, but I decided to go ahead and call early after reading your complaints today. So hopefully I won't get charged the $70.

I called the [protected] and was on hold about 1-2 minutes. The lady I talked to was really nice although she did ask me if I wanted to buy a month's worth for $35 (half price). They are just doing their job so don't get mad at them. Just don't fall for it. I also made sure that I got her name and agent number.

For those of you having problems with [protected], make sure you dial the 1 in front or you will get a recording saying the call cannot be completed. Also, make sure you write down your cancellation number and get the agent's name and agent number.

I ordered my ultra green tea a few weeks ago, shortly after i found this website and read all of the comments everyone here has been making. I made the decision to order this product hoping it would boost my energy levels and give me the stamina to continue my work out regime... I'm a skeptic when i read things like "free trial", "extreme weightloss"... so i read every word on that page prior to ordering. What i read says that you will recieve your free trial, have 14 days to evaluate and then except a charge for the months supply you recieved. If you don't call them back, you will then be enrolled in their automatic shipment and billing scheme... which isn't much different than other companies (example: Proactive makeup line). I think everything that is stated on the website is completley legal, and if you didn't read through the fine print than i guess that makes you a bad consumer...and a bit of a fool. You can't point fingers and place blame if you didn't shop smart. I called immediately after i recieved my "free trial" and cancelled my account [protected]) I was on hold for under a minute, and the CSR quickly and without question cancelled my account. I will continue to evaluate my first month (which i have already tasted, and find that it tastes great!) and should i want more i will order from them in the future.

They don't explain the whole situation to you either. I bought the 30 day trial and spoke to someone asking if that is all I pay and they said yes. If you don't cancel it you will be charged for another month order. Of course even though they give you a 30 day supply, you only have 14 days to try it. After 14 days they will charge you the full amount if they do not hear from you and I did not receive my sample until 10 days after I ordered it. It is a real scam, but I can not say if the product works or not as I have not had the chance to try it yet.

phew! thanks for this post, i was just about to press enter, but i had trouble with the "Security Code" for the credit card information (new at using credit cards). i clicked on "What is this?" and it didn't load the page. instead the page loaded a warning saying that the site was not secure and that i shouldn't imput any personal information (to prevent interception). that got me a little scared so i googled the tea and this popped up! thank goodness someone up there likes me.
however, i really do hope there is something out there that could help me with my weight, but is natural.. if anyone has tried something and it worked, please send me an email! i'd very much appreciate it. thanks!

Well, I wish I had googled this first. I just ordered it last week and after several messages on my answering maching to confirm the order, I received the product. Now I am not even going to wait the 14 days. I am just going to cancel the order, (or try to at least). What a joke. These kind of companies piss me off and every single person that has read or posted to this complaint needs to contact the BBB. That is the only way to stop companies like this. Good luck to all of you that have lost funds. I pray I did not.

Same thing happened to me! I ordered it a couple days later a guy called me about it and told him I just wanted the trial and nothing more and to cancel it cause something didn't feel right. That things were good but a week later I got a $74.06 charge from DRI*REG.NET REGNETORD.COM 01 so I looked it up and found some scam reports on it so I went an talk to my bank about it. They look at it, said when it fully goes threw my account since it was pending they would do a criminal clam on it. A couple days later I was looking it up cause someone wanted to know where I got it from and saw this page so I called the number. It took 20mins to get someone on the phone. They had no info on me canceling it. She let me cancel and would only refund me $68. Said they couldn't refund the internet fees which I think is BS but it was better then no refund. She was also very ### about it! So from now on I will read more into FREE things..
P.S. Free Credit report will start charging you after 30 days to keep an eye on ur card and will not do refunds what so ever.

I just called the number and held on the line for 8 minutes..i spoke to a gentleman named mike agent #270 and [censor]ed at him and asked numerous times if i would be charged again he stated that i wouldnt thats why he gave me his name and agent number. im pissed that i have this dumb charge on my account. im getting ready to go on vacation and am now $70+ in the hole. i better not see this charge next month..i also agree that this is partially facebook's fault..why post things that teeenagers will see and fall for? its ###.

I have been on hold now for almost 20 minutes and nobody has even tried to offer me any assistance. I was told weeks ago that I would be refuned the $70 they took out of my account, and I have not gotten a refund YET! I'm furious and very frustrated with this company... something needs to be done about their false advertising and scams!

Yes,
I also got charged an unauthorized $69.87 from my account, even though I received my product 25 days after purchase (11 days after the free trial period). Not cool at all!
So I phoned up Power Tea on [protected]. I talked to Brittany and you can receive a refund if you send back your product to:

PO Box 2003
Riverton
Utar
122
USA

I'll keep you posted if this does not work.

I ordered my "free" sample and paid the $6.95 shipping fee on my credit card. I looked to see if there was small print and didn't see any. After getting my order today I was surprised that there was nothing in the package for the product so came on line to see if there was anything on here and surprise, surprise found these complaints. I called my credit card company and sure enough there was a charge for 69.95. I also received a jar of vitamins . I am calling the company tomorrow to cancel and am telling them I am calling the Better Business Bureau to complain. I talked to my credit card company and they told me to keep track of when and what time I called the company so that if and when they take money out I can dispute it and get my money back but for now I am out all the money. So buyers be beware, if it looks like crap and smells like crap...you can bet it's crap and I really should have known better; but thought if it was on Facebook it would be ok.

I ordered the 30 days free trial of UltraLean Green Tea 2 weeks ago, received my order aout 5 days ago, and now I have just been charged $ 70 something on my credit card. I didn't authorize any further transaction, plus the 30 days are not yet over so the free trial should not have turned into a regular membership. I have been trying to call these people to see why am I being charged this amount and how can I cancel my membership with them but coldnt find any phone number, if any one has their number, could you please post it.

Wow this sucks... I was charged the $4.95 s&h on 7/18/2008 so my 14 day trial is up tomorrow 8/01/2008. I still have yet to recieve the stuff so i called to find out why I hadn't received it and the lady said that it was sent and returned because they forgot to put the Apartment number on it so I had to pay for shipping for something I didn't even receive. Anyway I also had charges on my account from American Leisure and Easy Saving. These were brought on by Power Tea which is ULGT. Luckily I caught that it was evenon my account. Watch out for these guys. What also gets me is that most of these complaints are within the last month or so and no telling how many more people there are out there who haven't complained. This "company" has made SOOO much money off this.

I would call and cancel the account because when you least expect itthey are gonna charge you soooooo much money for those. and answering the comment they probably will not send it to you, and even if they do they are going to charge you for the 30 day supply. I would cal [protected] and cancel the subscription or account.
