The Vue Apartments - Portland, OR.
I gave written notice of lease termination June 20,2024. I have paid all invoices as of August 23, 2024 and my portal ledger shows a credit of.10 cents. I have sent numerous e-mails to the property manager onsite. I received one response regarding my security deposit refund telling me that it could be up to 30 days before they process my check. It is now October 15, 2024 and I have yet to receive my check, a final statement, return e-mails and phone calls with messages I left.

Claimed loss: First months rent

Desired outcome: Refund my deposit

Send a formal written demand to Two Coast Living and the property manager, referencing your lease termination date, the credit on your ledger, and the lack of response regarding your security deposit. Request immediate issuance of your security deposit refund and a final statement. If there’s no response within a reasonable timeframe, consider filing a complaint with your local housing authority or seeking legal advice to recover the deposit.
