Tvdiscs.com looked too good to be true...and it was. I was searching through google for the 90's animated SpiderMan series and TvDisc.com came up at the top of the listings and was a sponsored google link. It seemed legit to me, so i clicked and entered the site. They had exactly what i was looking for. The complete 65 episodes of SpiderMan on dvd. They had reviews of supposed customers who had bought, they had everything that made them look legit. The series was a bit costly, but i figured it was the entire 65 episodes that have never ben officially released, so i figured the price was understandable. I purchased the set via my credit card..and waited. Something should have told me something was up, when i received no email confirmation of my order. I waited a few days and e mailed them. I got no response. I emailed them 4 more times and to this day i haven't gotten a response from them. Nor the status of my dvd set. I consider this a lesson learnt. I have cancelled my credit card, so they can't use it for other things; the red flags to look out for is that they have NO CONTACT INFO whatsoever. Also the transaction showed up on my credit card statement, with a non working NV number.

My big thing is that why is google sponsering such a site, if it's a scam? They should bare some responsiblity too.

I have ordered a cd pack from tvdiscs.com about 6 weeks ago. They were happy to answer my equerries before the purchase.
Once I payed, I have never heard from them again, no replies to my questions about what happened with my order and of course I've never received the goods.

The delivery agent they promised to use has never received the goods either, so they clearly have never been sent. I don't think they have ever intended to do honest business.

This site made me wonder, too, but I did actually receive the Digimon Frontier discs that I ordered last fall. It took something like six weeks, and they sent me an apologetic email saying that they had changed servers or ISPs or something. They even offered me a store credit by way of apology.

The set was complete, but the resolution was pretty low, around 320x240, and the aspect ratio was not the same on all the discs. There were no subtitles or copyright notices, and a network logo appeared in one corner of the picture, so it looks an awful lot like a bootleg. On the other hand, the color and sound were both pretty good, so if it was a bootleg, it was a pretty good one.

All in all, overpriced. I will not attempt to use the store credit, and I haven't been able to connect to the website since my DVDs arrived.

This website needs to be shut down by either Walt Disney, Marvel and Google because just like everyone else I wanted to order from them but I couldn't figure out whether they were legit or not but we need to do something now so that other people won't make the same mistake.

I have ordered from them before and won't do it again. I also sent a lot of emails trying to get a response and to no luck. I finally contacted paypal (who I used luckily) and they contacted them for me. Sure enough, a few days later I receive my dvds. The quality is the big issue. You can tell without a doubt that the dvds are fake. The picture is horrible and has the old Japanese look to them (the voices don't match the mouth movements). I am very disappointed with this and feel that Google is knowingly allowing pirating sites to advertise through them. Anyways, don't use this site. I have reported them to the MPAA and plan to with the BBB (and maybe Disney so they can sue them for infringement).

I to have order from WWW.tvdisc.com and I have been waiting for going on 3 weeks now I had order the gargoyles series and like you I have been e-mailing the them and on my third one i sent today 6/10/09 all they do is send you an e-mail confermation saying they will contact you as soon as possible, they have no phone# to contact them directly I check my bank statement and the phone # just go to a voicemail box with no message that is finally when I realized this is just a scam I dont understand how they let people countinue to create these false online businesses There should be law's an to protect us from people like that and have mandatory regulations them to have all their business licence and legitament contact information on their web site and they should be researched by the web server before they can post a web business to make sure they are a legit business I'm very upset that google is allowing this to keep happening to people, people need to be warned about www.tvdisc.com as of now to keep future people from ordering I just hope people wont be as naive as I have been!
