TSI Shipping Unprofessional and Rude: My Experience with TSI Shipping

I was super stoked to use TSI Shipping because their website looked really legit and they were one of the first results when I searched for shipping companies. I hit them up online for a quote and they sent me an automated response with some contact info. Then, I started getting emails from this logistics manager named Kathy Temple. I tried calling her up, but some dude answered and said they were "so behind" and he just needed to "finish up this one task." After making me wait on hold while he finished his "task," he transferred me to Kathy's line, but she didn't pick up. So, I left a voicemail and sent an email with my questions. But, all I got back was an automated response saying they were swamped and it would take longer than usual to get back to me. That was three weeks ago and I haven't heard anything since. They even stopped sending me emails, which means they had time to take me off their list, but not to answer my questions! That's just plain rude and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone and I suggest you find another shipping company to handle your stuff. If this is how they treat potential customers, you can bet they'll be even worse when it comes to actually shipping your goods.

TSI Shipping TSI Shipping Review: Lack of Communication and Damaged Goods - Would Not Recommend

I am really bummed out about TSI Shipping. There are a few reasons why I am feeling this way. First off, we had scheduled for our mattress boxes to be picked up on Tuesday, November 6th, 2018 between 2:00-6:00 PM. We were all ready for the pick-up, but no one ever showed up and we didn't get any calls either. We tried to get in touch with someone for hours, but it wasn't until the next day that we were finally able to speak with a dispatcher from the logistics company that TSI had hired. The dispatcher told us that the truck had gone to a different address, but no one had called us to let us know. Finally, our boxes were picked up on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 7th, 2018 which made us late for our departure from California. We had to make several calls and send several emails to finally get a response from Jessica, the representative of TSI. Unfortunately, she didn't have any solution for our situation.

When our mattresses finally arrived at our destination, we were really disappointed to see that the boxes were destroyed. It was clear that a forklift had ripped open one of the boxes and had gone through the top of one of our mattresses. We took pictures of the damage and so did the driver. We called Jessica to express our anger and frustration, but she told us that we didn't have insurance. We were really surprised to hear this because we were never offered insurance in the first place. When we told her this, she said that she couldn't remember that conversation and that it was her fault. Unfortunately, there was nothing she could do at this point. We asked to speak with a manager, but Jessica told us that her manager, Adam, had told her that this was her mistake and that she needed to deal with it. It's been two weeks now and despite several requests, we haven't heard anything from management. Jessica has only been able to refund the shipping cost. We now have a damaged mattress that is worth $2,000 and TSI won't help us replace it, even though this was Jessica's fault for not offering insurance to us.

Overall, I am really disappointed with TSI Shipping. The lack of communication and the damage to our mattress has left a really bad taste in my mouth. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

TSI Shipping Terrible Experience with TSI Shipping: Clock Broken and No Support from Company

I had a terrible experience with TSI Shipping. My family and I needed to move a grandfather clock across the country after a loved one passed away. We decided to work with TSI based on their initial response times and friendly customer service. However, our representative Kathy Temple pressured us into purchasing both the crating service and insurance, even though we were not fully in agreement. We decided to go ahead with it, as the clock was important to us and we wanted to be safe.

Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. Despite being told that the clock needed to be crated for safety, the team that picked it up did not crate it and claimed it would be "fine" traveling over 200 miles to a shipping center to be crated there. When I called Kathy to express my concern, she was very rude and unhelpful. She made it clear that she did not care anymore now that the sale had been made and told me that this was their standard procedure. I felt like I was taken advantage of and left with no support from TSI.

To make matters worse, when the clock arrived, it was broken in multiple places. The clock face was destroyed, the glass was shattered on the sides, and it looked like it had been dropped or intentionally kicked in. The delivery team took it back to their truck to take it to a warehouse to get "fixed". I have no idea where my precious clock is or what they are doing to it. TSI has not contacted me in regard to this issue or returned any phone calls. I am extremely disappointed with their service and would never use this company again.

It's a shame that TSI did not take better care of our clock, especially after pressuring us into purchasing their services. I wish we had been told in advance that this was their "standard procedure" so that we could have used another company that would have taken better care of our clock. Overall, I would not recommend TSI Shipping to anyone looking to move valuable items.

TSI Shipping Warning: Terrible Experience with Transit Systems Inc. (TSI) - Do Not Use!

I recently had a terrible experience with Transit Systems Inc. (TSI), located at 999 Old Eagle School Road in Wayne, PA. I had scheduled a shipment from Florida to Washington and made it very clear that I needed my items to arrive before August 23rd, as I had important college documents and research materials that I needed for the upcoming semester. I was guaranteed that my items would arrive by August 10th, according to my receipt.

However, not only did my tracking number not work, but I also found it impossible to get in touch with anyone at the company who could help me. I was constantly being disconnected and sent in circles when I tried to contact them. As a result, my semester began without my computer files and research items, and I now have an "F" on my Capstone Thesis, which jeopardizes my graduation as this is my last semester of senior year.

After finally getting through to distribution manager Bob Whitehead and Company director Cathy Temple, I was promised a new date of arrival, which has now passed. It has been 59 days since pickup with no resolution in sight. I have had to call TSI literally 20 times over the past few weeks as I am constantly disconnected or transferred to people who have no helpful update on my order.

I understand that we are living in unique times under the pandemic, but there is no excuse that warrants the nightmare they have put me through. I have been accidentally CC'd in emails by the Distribution Manager, who wrote that he did not know the status of my order. Not only is this vastly unprofessional, but he should be in charge and should know.

Each week, I am still left in the dark, and the delayed shipping dates of September 6th blew past, and now their second and third projections for the following weeks have gone by as well. It has now been exactly two months since my order was first sent out, and I have no resolution. I believe this company is fraudulent, and I would advise anyone to steer clear of them.

TSI Shipping TSI Shipping: A Company That Treats Seniors with Respect

I gotta say, even though TSI Shipping was a bit too pricey for my taste, they treated me with some real respect. And let me tell you, as a senior citizen, that means a lot. I'm turning 70 soon, but people tend to forget that we old folks used to be pretty darn productive back in the day. I myself was a pediatric surgeon for over three decades, fixing up cleft palates and hare lips on little ones. In between surgeries, I worked in the ER for hospitals I contracted with. I even spent seven years abroad with the Smile Project, which was like the OG version of Doctors Without Borders.

But that's not all, folks. I also co-owned a metal building company for 19 years with my first husband, and started up three small businesses of my own. Oh, and I helped start 14 free walk-in clinics in California for folks who couldn't afford medical care, along with three other doctors. And somehow, I managed to raise a family in between all of that.

After I retired at 50 due to some hand damage from a drunk driver hitting me head-on on the Nimitz freeway in the Bay Area, I got bored and decided to go back to school. Ended up becoming a full-fledged chef at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, and started up a catering business in Huntington Beach that catered to a lot of folks in the film industry.

But then, three years ago, I made a big mistake and married a real jerk. He gambled away all of my retirement savings and was abusive towards me. I left him after he hit me once, but he's got some serious PTSD and bipolar disorder and refuses to take his meds. So now I'm living below the poverty line on Social Security, and can't really afford to use TSI Shipping's services. But I wanted to let them know how much I appreciated their kindness and respect towards me.

The young woman I spoke with on the phone was really courteous and understanding of my situation. I hope TSI Shipping keeps up their policy of treating people with dignity and kindness, because that kind of thing really goes a long way in the public eye. I'd recommend their services to just about anyone I know, and who knows? Maybe someday I'll be able to use them myself. Thanks for being so kind, TSI Shipping.

Sincerely,
Dr. Sandra L. Vander Pol

TSI Shipping TSI Shipping Review: Unprofessional and Damaged Delivery, Poor Customer Service

I recently had an experience with TSI Shipping and I have to say, it was not a good one. I was hesitant to use them after reading some negative reviews, but decided to give them a chance since they had an A rating with BBB. The delivery started off well in New Jersey, where they picked up our mattress with their white glove service that we paid extra for. The movers were professional and had enough people to carry the mattress. However, things quickly went downhill once they arrived in Texas.

Firstly, Transit gave our delivery to another company without our consent. This was frustrating as we specifically chose TSI Shipping for their white glove service. Secondly, the third company, Metropolitan, had trouble finding our address even though we had explained it very clearly. This caused a delay in the delivery process. Thirdly, we paid for a white glove service, but the movers asked for our help which was unprofessional. Fourthly, the movers came into our room filled with mud and ruined our brand new rug. This was unacceptable and we were very upset. Fifthly, my husband had to help the movers move the mattress which was not something we paid for. Lastly, the movers opened our box outside in the rain and dirtied it with mud. We told them we did not want the mattress and they took it back.

We have been trying to contact Transit and Metropolitan for a month now, but it has been a huge problem. Transit kept saying we don't have insurance, which is a common problem according to other reviews I have read. We paid for a service and it is not our responsibility that their employees and third-party companies ruined our mattress. We have been speaking to Renee, who has been nice, but it has not solved our problem. She offered us the option of having our ruined mattress back or a refund of 60 cents per pound. This is unacceptable as we want a full refund of what we paid for our new mattress. We provided her with receipts and pictures of the mud on the mattress.

We are very frustrated with TSI Shipping and their lack of responsibility for their employees' actions. What if their employees were upset and put a knife in the mattress? Would their liability insurance cover that? We are demanding a full refund for our ruined mattress and if they do not comply, we will take legal action. This has caused us a lot of stress and we should not have to pay for their horrible business practices.

TSI Shipping TSI Shipping Review: Gross Negligence Caused Damage to Vintage Locker, Refusal to Take Responsibility

I recently had a pretty bad experience with TSI Shipping (tsishipping.com). I had purchased a vintage locker and was having it shipped to a refurbisher to be sandblasted and finished for my home. Unfortunately, the locker was damaged during shipping due to what I believe was gross negligence on the part of the shipping company.

When the locker arrived, the legs were broken and bent. No one had even notified me that the locker was damaged or refused at delivery. I only found out when I emailed the refurbisher for a status update. The photos sent by the seller and the shipping company's photo confirmed that the locker was removed from its pallet and needed to be held up by straps to the side of the truck to stand because the legs were bent and broken.

I spoke to my lawyer, and he feels that our contract was breached when the locker was removed from its shipping pallet. This entitles me to ignore the liability limitations set forth in the contract and pursue legal action and complaints to BBB + social networks. This is not just a dented box during delivery. They intentionally removed it from its shipping pallet to stand it up, which created the damage. While the items did not cost much, it is vintage, and I did a lot of work to research items/refurbishers before and welders/refurbishers after the damage.

Another issue with TSI Shipping is that they said the item weighed 110 pounds more than the seller stated it did. The shipping was not included in the purchase and did not affect the price, so I know the seller is telling me the truth. Because the company removed it off the pallet to stand it instead of it being on its side as packaged and the legs broke, I am requesting that they reimburse the $641.39 that was charged for shipping and the $250 I paid for the locker, which totals $899.31.

Renee G with TSI said they would reimburse the $250, but not the shipping, even though their gross negligence in removing it off the shipping crate is what caused this item to be unusable. I have sent all photos and information to the company and to the BBB. I am giving them two stars because they were at least responsive when I complained and did offer to refund the locker price, but the shipping is way more and what caused this issue. They should own up to this and refund, as well as I think they overcharged for the wrong weight.

Overall, I would not recommend TSI Shipping. Their negligence caused damage to my vintage locker, and they are not willing to take responsibility for it. It's a shame because I had heard good things about them before this experience.

TSI Shipping TSI Shipping Review: Cheap Flat Rate, Terrible Service, and Limited Liability Coverage

I recently had the misfortune of using TSI Shipping for my move and I must say, it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. The company advertises a cheap flat rate of $475 for shipping mattresses across the USA, but the quality of service is far from satisfactory. To make matters worse, the company only provides a limited liability of $.10 per lb with this service, which is not enough to cover the cost of a mattress box. They do offer a higher coverage plan, but it is quite expensive and only provides $.60 per lb in liability. This means that if your item is damaged during transit, you will only receive a maximum of $120 back, which is not enough to cover the cost of most mattresses.

In my case, I opted for the $475 transportation service and my new king-sized Tempur-Pedic memory foam mattress, which was worth $3000, was severely damaged during transit. When I contacted TSI Shipping about the damage, they only provided me with a $21 check for damages, which was a complete insult. As you can see from the images below, the mattress was in perfect condition when it was picked up, but it was severely damaged during transit.

The mattress box was torn open so badly that it even ripped away the plastic cover and the actual cover on the mattress itself. It also appears that the item was either ran over or sat underneath a heavy object for an extended period of time illustrated by the large indentation still imprinted on the mattress (no mattress looks like this).

When I contacted the company's quality assurance department, they had the audacity to tell me that the damage was not significant and that the mattress did not appear to be ruined. This is a complete lie and any customer would describe this situation as severe damage to personal property.

I strongly advise fellow customers to beware of this company. They will not accept responsibility for their actions and their limited liability coverage is not enough to cover the cost of most items. Additionally, your homeowners insurance will not cover any mistakes like this, so you will be left to deal with the consequences on your own.

TSI Shipping Terrible Experience with TSI Shipping - Do Not Trust Them with Heirlooms or Carpets

I recently had a terrible experience with TSI Shipping (tsishipping.com) and I strongly advise anyone considering using their services to think twice. Despite their claims of specializing in Heirloom and carpet deliveries, my experience with them was far from satisfactory. I was assured by TSI that they were experts in handling such delicate items and was recommended to purchase additional White Glove Service and Insurance, which I did. However, the result was a shipment that ran over 50 days, during which almost all of my Heirloom items were damaged due to NON-Air Controlled Storage during shipping.

I called TSI's Customer Service frequently during the delivery process, especially when the delivery was extending over the 20 business day mark. TSI assured me that everything was properly taken care of, but the items arrived damaged extensively from being in extreme heat for way too long. In addition, some items were not packed correctly. I received a $1,000 insurance claim, but the damage repair of all the items damaged went over $4,000, especially since I paid for White Glove Service. I wish I had crated and wrapped the items myself. I could have packed it better than the White Glove Service. In fact, the delivery person with #Plyoon Transportation Group commented and acknowledged at the time of delivery how the items were badly packed. Saying he never seen a shipment packed as this crate was. I only had wished I taped that conversation. -He did sign off on all the damage on my Bill of Lading. But that didn't matter. TSI and the insurance discarded the statements made on the Bill.

I called TSI in tears after the delivery, hoping their management team would rectify the situation. But they took no responsibility, blaming the results on their third parties and me for not applying my insurance appropriately. Also, TSI did NOT hold their White Glove Service accountable for the bad packing or for not wrapping the carpet in plastic as promised. The WG service packed the items inappropriately, and TSI never assured or confirmed the items were safe before shipping (as they promised). TSI also never assured the wood items and carpet were protected in climate-controlled storage when the shipment was delayed and storage was used - This is also guaranteed in their terms and conditions. The shipment extended over 20 business days. It was 32 business days, but once you add holidays and weekends, it was over 50 days in extreme heat from the day of pick up to delivery. Way too long for items to be in a non-air-controlled environment. (it was not on the truck that whole time-it was stored somewhere) I ended up with over $4,000 additional damage - I paid a $1,000 the insurance claim. My return was $300. I allocated too much on the Carpet I was told after the fact - The TSI team was in full knowledge that their third-party insurance company does not pay off anything on Carpets. (The carpet was dried out - and they still gave me $0) for that damage which I allocated $300.

Bottom line, TSI didn't take any responsibility OR hold their White Glove Service Accountable. And the TSI Team sold me insurance without disclosing the condition on the carpet. I paid a $1,000 insurance policy and only received $300 after the deductible. - Do not use TSI Shipping or trust them with heirlooms or carpets. I lost the items from my parents' home that passed away. Only wished TSI was more accountable for what they advertise and sell. Don't sell a white glove service saying you specialize in Carpet and Heirloom Delivery - WHEN YOU DON'T. TSI took my money and failed to do what they promised. Don't let this happen to you - Choose another shipper.

I even have an image that shows how they pulled the broken item out of the crate-We watched from above. But TSI reported said I was wrong-I didn't see how they crated the items. Choose another shipper.

TSI Shipping Terrible Experience with TSI Shipping: No Communication, Damaged Art, and Missing Items

TSI Shipping is a company that claims to make the process of shipping your belongings across the country much easier. They act as a middleman between you and the actual shipper, promising to provide better communication and customer service. However, my experience with TSI was nothing short of terrible.

I hired TSI to move my things from NYC to SF in June of 2020. I had many expensive pieces of art that I paid extra to be specially crated for safe delivery. I also requested additional insurance on the items, as TSI made it very clear that the base level insurance was effectively no insurance whatsoever.

TSI billed me for half the cost on 4/22, and my items were picked up on 5/20. The second half was billed on 6/03, and the shipment was delivered on 6/17 (which was within the 20 business day delivery window provided). However, when the shipment was delivered, one piece of art was damaged ($600 to repair) and one piece of art was not delivered at all. None of the art was crated.

We realized the art was missing immediately and got a number from the delivery people to call. They told us to sign the delivery documents for the items that were delivered, which we did. We reached out to TSI to resolve the issue, but they told us that we did not have insurance and that because we signed the paperwork, technically there was no missing item. However, since we called the same day, they said they would do us the favor of believing us.

From that point on, we received no proactive updates on the status of our art. Just today, after our email request for an update, they let us know that they are closing the ticket, our item is gone forever, and they will be reimbursing us a total of $72.

Overall, my experience with TSI was terrible. They did not provide any updates or customer service once our shipment had been picked up. We do not believe we got what we paid for with respect to the insurance or the crating of our art, which resulted in the damage and also resulted in that damage not being covered. At no time did they proactively provide updates as to when our shipment would be delivered, or once delivered the status of our missing items. They did not attempt in any way to rectify the situation beyond the exact letter of claim.

In conclusion, I would not recommend using TSI for your shipping needs. They charge for a premium shipping experience but do not deliver premium service. It would be better to book with the shipper directly for the exact same experience and a lower price. Potentially a better experience if going through the shipper directly gets the appropriate packing and they do not mess up the additional insurance. These guys are basically sales and marketing for the shippers. Ask what shipper they are going to use and then go there directly.

TSI Shipping Unreliable and Frustrating: My Experience with TSI Shipping

I had high hopes for TSI Shipping when I first contacted them to help me with my delivery needs. However, my experience with them left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.

Initially, I was given a delivery date of Tuesday, which I was excited about. However, when I called on Tuesday to find out when I could expect my delivery, I was told that it had been rescheduled for Wednesday. This was frustrating, but I understood that things happen and schedules can change.

On Wednesday, I waited for hours for my delivery to arrive, but it never did. When I called TSI Shipping to find out what was going on, I was told that the delivery had been rescheduled again, this time for Thursday. I was starting to feel like I couldn't trust TSI Shipping to keep their promises.

On Thursday morning, I spoke with the manager who apologized for the confusion and gave me a delivery time of 10am - 2pm. I requested an email confirmation of this delivery time, but it never arrived. At 2pm, I was still waiting for my delivery to arrive, so I called the subcontracted company directly. They gave me a delivery time of 1pm - 4pm, which was different from what TSI Shipping had told me. I was confused and frustrated by the lack of communication and coordination between TSI Shipping and their subcontractors.

Finally, my delivery arrived at 5pm, missing some of the parts. I had spent a total of 13 hours waiting at the delivery location, which was a huge waste of my time. The pick up and delivery locations were only 5 hours apart, so I could have done it myself and saved $900 if I had known how poorly TSI Shipping would handle the scheduling and communication.

Despite my negative experience with TSI Shipping, I will say that the delivery drivers themselves were very polite and professional. They did their best to make up for the mistakes of the company they were working for.

Overall, I would not recommend TSI Shipping to anyone who values their time and wants reliable delivery service. The lack of communication and coordination between TSI Shipping and their subcontractors was frustrating and costly.

TSI Shipping Disappointing Experience with TSI Shipping: Damaged Boxes, Missing Item, and Poor Customer Service

I want to share my experience with TSI Shipping. I must say, I was extremely disappointed with their service. I paid a hefty amount of $1100 to have 13 small boxes of my personal and work items moved from NY to CA. However, when my boxes arrived, I was shocked to see that all 13 boxes were damaged and opened. I was devastated to see my belongings in such a state.

I had packed my boxes carefully and loaded them on a pallet, which was sealed at pickup. The same pallet was sealed upon delivery, but somehow an additional box of expensive medical equipment that did not belong to me ended up in my shipment. The medical equipment was worth $2500, and I had no idea how it ended up in my shipment.

To make matters worse, I was told that I needed to be home for delivery to help unload, and given a 5-hour window. Since I was on crutches at the time, I took the day off and waited all day for the delivery. However, I did not hear anything from the company. Later, I found out that my boxes were dropped off in the front of our building with no notice, and the delivery driver forged my signature.

I was extremely upset and decided to speak with their quality assurance manager, Renee Goryl. However, she was incredibly rude and unhelpful. The company refused to refund any of my money and offered me a $100 Amazon card instead. I was shocked that they failed to deliver my stuff safely and pocketed my money anyway.

In conclusion, I would not recommend TSI Shipping to anyone. They had one job, which was to deliver my belongings safely, and they failed to do so. I was extremely disappointed with their service, and I hope that others do not have to go through the same experience as I did.

TSI Shipping TSI Shipping Review: Late Delivery and Poor Customer Service

I gotta say, I wish I had checked out the reviews before I went ahead and used TSI Shipping to get my mattress from Charlotte, NC all the way to Seattle, WA. I mean, don't get me wrong, I get that things can happen, but this was just ridiculous.

So, they picked up my mattress on September 3rd and told me that it would take about 20 business days to get it to me. Okay, fine, I can deal with that. But then, when I called them up on September 26th to check on the status, they gave me this estimate of "the week of October 7th" - which, let's be real, could mean anything from the 7th to the 11th. So already, we're looking at 4-8 days over their original estimate.

And then, to top it all off, I didn't actually get my mattress until October 14th - a full 9 business days over their original estimate. And when I tried to talk to Jon and Robert Whitehead about it, they just shrugged it off and said that things happen that are beyond their control. Like, seriously? That's all you've got?

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. They don't seem to have any kind of policy for what counts as "late," so they can just use their estimates as a blanket excuse for their own incompetence. It's just not worth the hassle.

TSI Shipping TSI Shipping Review: Poor Customer Service and Outsourced Shipping

I gotta say, I was pretty bummed out and ticked off by the whole deal with TSI Shipping. I mean, I shelled out a pretty penny for their services, but the customer service was just not up to snuff. They told me straight up that I couldn't count on a courtesy call, and if I wanted to upgrade my pickup and drop off locations, it was gonna cost me an arm and a leg - $250 each! And get this, they don't even do the shipping themselves! They outsource it to local companies, which means I had to keep bugging them for updates on where my mattress was and when it was gonna get to me. And don't even get me started on the delivery time. They said it would take 7-10 days, but it ended up getting delayed over a weekend and then the shipping company messed up the scheduling, so I had to wait another whole week without my mattress. And did TSI do anything to make it right? Nope. Not a darn thing. And this wasn't even the only problem I had with them - the pickup was a whole other headache. Honestly, save yourself the trouble and go with a different shipping company. There are plenty out there that are way more affordable and have much better customer service. Shoot, I even had a better experience shipping through Greyhound!

TSI Shipping TSI Shipping: A Complete Disaster for Moving Our Expensive Mattress Set

This company, TSI Shipping, was a complete disaster when it came to moving our expensive mattress set. We had a 3-day window for them to move it, but they failed to do so. We left numerous voicemails, but they did not return a single call. We were left hanging on a Friday evening with no resolution. For 3 days, we waited in the 2-6 pm window for the truck to arrive, but it never showed up. We were forced to move out of our apartment on the 3rd day, which is why we desperately tried to get them to move the mattress set. On the last day, they told us they would try to get the mattress to a transit area, but they did not fulfill on that either.

We called them desperately on the 3rd day, probably 20 times, but they did not respond. Then, on a Friday evening, they just closed their business for the day, leaving us with no resolution. We had to give our expensive mattress set to a trash company so we could get out. We also had to spend 2 nights in a hotel because the mattress set was already packed up.

If you value your peace of mind and money, do not hire this company. They brought us to our knees trying to get them to do something that we already paid them for. They really did not care if it got done or not. We strongly recommend that you go to some other company.

TSI Shipping Decent Experience with TSI Shipping: Professional Movers, Timely Delivery, but Lack of Communication Causes Stress

I recently used TSI Shipping (tsishipping.com) to move my furniture and overall, I had a decent experience. The movers on both ends were professional and took great care with my belongings. However, there were a few hiccups along the way that caused some stress.

Firstly, the pickup of my furniture was scheduled for the very last day of the promised time frame. I was not given any notice in between about where the estimated times might be, which made me a bit anxious. To add to that, the pickup movers arrived one day early, which was a bit of a surprise. Thankfully, I was able to manage the situation.

After the pickup, there was no regular update about the status of the delivery. The account manager simply told me that I would receive a call 24-48 hours before it arrived. This lack of communication was frustrating and caused me to worry about the whereabouts of my furniture. The furniture eventually arrived in the city on the last day of the promised range, but local delivery could not get it to me until the following week.

While I understand that everything was technically within the promised time frames, the long wait time between events was worrisome. It would have been helpful to receive updates once a week during that time, such as "Your shipment is still waiting for pickup" or "Your shipment is at X warehouse pending delivery." This would have put my mind at ease and made the long wait and late delivery less of an issue.

When I called the account manager to express my concerns, he was a bit condescending and reminded me that I had signed an agreement stating that I would be notified of any activity 24-48 hours before the event. While this was true, the lack of communication in between events was still frustrating.

Overall, I would recommend TSI Shipping for their professional movers and timely delivery. However, I would caution others to be prepared for a lack of communication in between events and to follow up with the account manager if necessary.

TSI Shipping Poor Customer Service and Communication: My Experience with TSI Shipping

I gotta say, my experience with TSI Shipping was not great. The driver who came to pick up my stuff was a real complainer and didn't even bother to call me before he showed up, even though I had specifically asked him to. I mean, I had a four-hour window for pick up, and I wasn't about to just sit around at the storage unit all day waiting for him. Then, when it came time for delivery, I was told he would be there in the morning, but he didn't show up until almost 5:30 in the evening! And get this, he had to call me for directions because he didn't have GPS. I mean, come on, who doesn't have GPS these days?

To make matters worse, I had added some extra boxes to my shipment and was told there might be an additional charge. I left a message for Eddie, who had arranged the move, but he never called me back. Then, before the delivery, I talked to three different people who all told me there would be no additional charge. So, I thought everything was all good. But then, a week after my stuff was delivered, I get an email from Eddie saying he's charging my credit card! No warning, no phone call, nothing. And this was a week after the move was completed! I mean, what kind of moving company delivers your stuff without being paid in full?

I called Eddie to try and get an explanation, but he said he was looking into it and I haven't heard back from him since. Honestly, the customer service was just terrible. I don't think I'll be using TSI Shipping again.

TSI Shipping Disappointing Experience with TSI Shipping: Misleading Website, Lack of Communication, and Additional Charges

My experience with TSI Shipping was not good at all. I was really disappointed with the service I received. According to their website, the drivers are supposed to keep you informed about their whereabouts and estimated time of arrival. However, this was not the case with my shipment. I had scheduled a pickup of my belongings on Monday and had specifically requested that I be notified when the drivers were on their way so that I could be present at my apartment. Unfortunately, no one called me to inform me that they were on their way. As a result, they arrived at my apartment while I was at work and left without waiting for me. This forced me to reschedule the pickup.

When I contacted my agent to ask why I wasn't notified, he told me that some drivers call while others don't. He also said that there was no way to ensure that drivers call. If that's the case, then why does the website say that drivers keep customers up-to-date? This is misleading and needs to be removed.

Finally, the drivers picked up my belongings on Friday. However, it's now been another week and I still haven't received my things. This is really frustrating, especially since I received my car much quicker when I shipped it. To make matters worse, I was charged an additional $300 without any notice. This is unacceptable and I would never recommend this company to anyone. I should have just shipped my belongings through FedEx.

TSI Shipping Unreliable and Overpriced: My Disappointing Experience with TSI Shipping

I recently had the opportunity to use TSI Shipping for my relocation, and I have to say, I was not impressed. My company had booked them as a third resort, and now I see why.

Firstly, their prices were extremely high, and the numbers they gave me were completely off based on the estimate they had given me for my relocation. In fact, I ended up paying $1000 more than what I was initially quoted.

To make matters worse, I was told that my items would be delivered on October 28th before 12 noon, which I had specifically taken time off work for. However, 3pm rolled around and I had yet to hear from anyone. I called TSI and spoke with a guy named John or Ryan, who acted like he didn't know what was going on. He said he would call me back shortly, but it took him a while to do so. When he finally did call me back, he told me that the driver should have called me to let me know that my delivery wasn't going to make it until October 29th instead.

Shortly after getting off the phone with John or Ryan, the driver called me and told me everything that was going on. He also said that John or Ryan knew that my delivery was going to be pushed to October 29th and they should have called me to let me know.

When my stuff finally arrived, everything was going well until I noticed that my 55" flat screen TV screen was shattered. The unloader, Chris, blamed it on the team that loaded it onto the truck. Considering that I had paid a lot of money for this relocation, I expected better service and care for my belongings. Now, I am in the process of getting my attorney involved.

Overall, I would not recommend TSI Shipping for your relocation needs. Their prices are too high, and their communication and care for your belongings are lacking.

TSI Shipping Disappointing Experience with TSI Shipping: Poor Handling and Delays

I gotta say, I wasn't too thrilled with TSI Shipping. I had a few issues with them that really put a damper on my experience. First off, I gave them the dimensions of my china cupboard and let them know that it was pretty heavy. But when the two guys came to pick it up, they were both pretty small and seemed to struggle with moving such a tall and heavy piece of furniture. I had already told them that it didn't come apart into top and bottom pieces, but they were still surprised by that fact. I'm not sure they handled it with the care it deserved.

To make matters worse, there was a small crack in one of the front window glass panes. They did call me to let me know when it arrived at the warehouse, but then a few days later they called to say that the whole pane had shattered. I didn't take out insurance on it, but they did offer me a little bit of compensation. I can't help but wonder if it was mishandled during the move.

And speaking of the move, it took way longer than I expected to get my china cupboard delivered. They didn't give me any reason for the delay, which was pretty frustrating.

Finally, when it did arrive, I noticed that two of the door handles had broken off and there was a crack in the wood at the back of the cupboard. This really makes me think that it wasn't handled with the care it deserved. I mean, I had moved this thing from Southern California to Salem, Oregon before without any issues. So why did this shorter trip between Salem and Port Angeles have so many problems?

Overall, I wouldn't recommend TSI Shipping. They just didn't seem to handle my move with the care and attention it deserved.
