TrustedPlace / AAA review: Failure to cover ac

We received a recommendation from AAA to use Trusted Place as a warranty service for our home equipment. We provided them over $800 in premiums over 2 years. (When I canceled service they did refund a portion of these premiums.) When my AC went out, I submitted a claim with supporting documents from my AC company. Trusted Place said that since the unit had been leaking freon from the joints of the tubing that it was not covered. A normal person would expect a 14 yo unit to have some leaking due to normal wear and tear. But this was one of 12 exclusions the company had to decline payment. I would like to suggest to AAA that they no longer recommend this company as Trusted place doesn't pay for claims.
