Tree Life Services review: Finish project or give me most of my money back!

On or about 8/11 I searched Angi/HomeAdvisor for a landscaper to remove old concrete border and install a new stack wall around house. Although I was given a different Company (Quality Tree Service) by HomeAdvisor, Rob Williams showed up on 8/12 representing Tree Life Services. I assumed he was connected to QTS. How else would he know to stop by? Rob measured around house and gave me a quote for $5700 to do everything. I agreed and gave him a deposit of $2000. He said someone would be there the next day (8/13) to begin removing old border. No one showed up or called. Finally, on 8/15 Rob showed up late afternoon with 2 helpers and removed the old border. Rob said he would be back the next day (8/16) to continue install. He also asked for another check for $700 to pay a vendor. Did not see or hear from him again until I received a voicemail on 8/19 saying he would be here the next day. Again, no show. I have mailed a letter to the Fraud Department, Office of the Attorney General, Florida.
