Took my 2017 Freightliner Discovery 39G to their location to service the unit and for a recall. While it was there they said a AC line was broken, not sure it was an issue as the AC worked when it was driven there. Still authorized the repair of the line. I got a call later that the bolt broke in the AC compressor and NOW I AM RESPONSIBLE. My husband owns an auto repair facility but he can't do Freightliner recalls or he would have handled the servicing. We understand exactly what happened as we have had technicians who "bull" their way through jobs. Your technician was in a hurry and didn't use Never Seize or other product and tried twisting the bolt out and broke it. If one of our technicians did what your technician did, we would eat the part and replace it for free. According to your manager your policy is the customer pays whether they are at fault or not. This is incredibly bad customer service. My shop replaced the AC Compressor, repaired the line and recharged it. I will NEVER return to that location as I am hoping it is just that one location that handles customer vehicles in this manner. I am complaining about the incredibly bad service I received at the hands of one of your facilities as this is a direct reflection on your name. I purchased a different RV recently and groaned when I saw it was a Mercedes engine but a Freightliner Chassis. Not sure what I will do if I ever have to do another recall.

Desired outcome: I would like to know the people at Queensbury understand what true customer service means. That your policy becomes, 'if we break it we buy it' and train your technicians how to not break equipment that is not broken.
