I took my car to Toyota Chula Vista 'cause the maintenance light was on. But when I got it back, the check engine light was on too! I had to WAIT for 3 hours for an oil change, and they left a kit on my passenger seat to charge it. When I dropped off my car, it was running fine. But when I got it back, it wouldn't even turn on! The service advisor said the battery test failed, but I told her I wanted to buy the battery somewhere else, not from Toyota. I don't know if they were trying to make me buy it there, but my car wasn't running when I got it back! The supervisor wasn't around, and no one else could help me. So I drove to *** and didn't turn off my car until my dad got off work and bought a battery. Then I drove straight to get it installed. This is the worst customer service ever! They took advantage of me, and that's not cool. My car was fine before, and I only needed an oil change. I was planning to buy a battery soon, but not that day!

was not being treated fairly. The front desk representative was very helpful and understanding. She took the time to listen to my concerns and offered to speak to the service manager on my behalf. After a few minutes, she came back and informed me that they were able to cover the cost of the brake actuator replacement under the warranty enhancement program. I was relieved and grateful for her help.

Overall, my experience at Toyota Chula Vista was frustrating and disappointing at first. However, the front desk representative was able to turn things around and provide me with the help I needed. I would recommend this dealership, but be prepared to advocate for yourself and your rights as a customer.

Got a car from Toyota Chula Vista on July 31st. It was a used car, so no warranties were available because of its age and mileage. I get that. But, I had to add $2,000 to my debt for issues that the car had before I bought it. The dealership didn't tell me about these issues during negotiations, even though I asked for history reports and paperwork. I've tried to contact management multiple times since the purchase, but it's been tough. Even Toyota contacted the dealership directly because the car "seems to have a lot going on". Because the car is from 2009, I can't get free consultations with Lemon Law attorneys. I can't afford consultations elsewhere to confirm if it's a lemon car.

I buy car from Toyota CV on 04/16 for my biz. I say credit must be under my company name cuz I'm in escrow. *** and *** from *** say it's all good, just sign as CEO. But now my credit score messed up and I gotta refinance through my bank. Had to pay $112,793 to Toyota *** Services to take it off my personal credit. Car only cost $96,676. Paid on 05/27 but still on my credit. I'm paying $200/day rent and $150/day demurrage for new house cuz I sold old one. No news from *** or *** and *** from Toyota CV. Only 2 days left or I lose my house.

I took my Toyota Sienna to Toyota Chula Vista on July 1st 'cause I was hearing a weird noise from the front left of the car. It was more noticeable when I was driving on the freeway. They checked it out and said it was the lower control arm that was making the noise. I paid $899 for the repair and they said it was covered by warranty. But then, a couple of weeks later, I drove on the freeway again and the noise was even louder than before. I called them and they said it was the wheel hub bearings and it would cost $2000 to fix. They said they'd only charge me $1400 since I already paid $899. But that's still a lot of money! What happened to the warranty they promised me? They said "we're all human, we make mistakes." I just want my money back and they can put back my old lower control arm. It was probably fine to begin with.

I went to Toyota Chula Vista in April to fix my truck's AC unit, fan gauges, power window (right door), and a factory recall. They finished the work, but in June, the AC stopped working again. I went back to the shop, and they found out that the compressor had a leak and needed to be replaced. It was too expensive, so I declined. When I got my truck back, the stereo speakers were not emitting sound, and the dash was slightly detached. I went back to the Toyota Svc. area, and the mechanic fixed the small mishaps that occurred during the AC inspection. When I got home, I found a 3rd party stereo component in my glove box. I told the service director, and he was rude and belittling. He promised a partial refund on the AC unit if I got an inspection from a 3rd party audio shop. I just wanted him to take ownership of the work his sloppy mechanics perform and reattach my stereo component. He refused. I want a refund for the AC repair because their initial diagnoses was not the issue. This service director needs a lesson or 2 in svc.
