The install process went well - took one day for roof install and panels install [my package included a new roofing installed prior to electrical panel installation]. Of course, after that there were some expected delays that were resolved expeditiously with assistance I provided to help our home get certified as an electrical energy producer on the grid [lots of paperwork hoops to jump through - with license, inspect prior and during install, re-inspect after final install, and then final clearance to operate our solar panels]. I was kept up to date with phases in the project with project managers, who regularly communicated with me on this project. Started the process [17-March 23], panels activated last week [31-May-23].

However, something has frustrated me just at the close of this effort, and is worth mentioning. That is, getting on the phone with the right person to provide me with Top Tier monitoring hub access - with an "EnPhase Email" - as I was told to expect from the gent who set up the “IQ4 HUB” in our home [see 1st attached image of the IQ4 Hub]. This gent also assisted me with installation of the Top Tier iPhone application. to monitor my solar panels [see 2nd iPhone screenshot attached - similar to the IQ4 Hub we have installed here at home]. I called Top Tier and was informed that the process could take up to another 15 days to assign an account identifier [?] Was also given instruction by another Top Tier resource that I had to have a “SolarEdge” account created in order to access the SolarEdge monitoring application [see 3rd iPhone screenshot attached]

I do have a question; do we use both electronic monitoring tools - or either of the tools?

I don’t understand why there is another delay to get information on a system that has been operating and fully functional for the past several days [?]. I am asking Top Tier to clarify conflicting instructions to monitor the solar panel system installed [?], and the energy it produces when the sun is up [?] - As opposed to what we have to pay Duke Energy for night time electricity.

Hence the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the conflicting and incomplete information from Top Tier provided me to monitor the electricity produced when I switched on my solar panels in the grid [btw - Would have given you folks at Top Tier 4 ½ stars if I could have :-)].

I got my solar panels installed this week. I am very impressed with Top Tier's team - very professional. I was kept in the loop consistently and I would recommend these guys 100%! The process was very smooth which made me more comfortable with the process since the solar world is very new to me and my family. We are super excited. Thanks TOP TIER!

Each step of this process has been great. We started by getting walked through the process for a couple hours and every question we had was answered and explained clearly, which made us feel comfortable. The installation was super easy and was done in a couple hours one morning. Lastly, turning the solar panels on was a breeze and we were walked through with ease!

I have had wonderful interactions with everyone at Top Tier Solar Solutions! They were quick to respond and answer all of my questions. It did take a few months after install to get the panels up and running due to couny inspection, etc., but I was reimbursed for the months that my panels were not on that I was paying my solar loan payments, which really impressed me. I love the look of my solar panels and recommend them to everyone in my neighborhood.

Poor communication. Beyond horrible service. Literally the biggest mistake I have ever done in my life. I got my panels last year! And its currently June and its still not working.Two final inspections were made and both failed. According to the *** electricians (that did the final inspection), Top Tier has not had any approved inspections for MONTHS. This business is a waste money and time. This business needs to be sued due to false advertisement and bad product overall.

Top Tier employees really care and want their customers to be pleased! When I was working with the initial contact, I mentioned that shes selling me something. She said I dont sell things, I help people. I couldnt agree more! They are knowledgeable and helpful through the entire process. I will be honest, solar panels are not an incredibly quick process to get started- however they are an investment that pays off forever so the wait is worth it! So thankful for Top Tier! I only wish I knew sooner so I could have done it sooner!

Top Tier Solar, The guy's that put up my Solar panel was professional okay, They did everything that they was supposed to do and it was a good job. If you need your panels up on your house please ? call Top Tier they are very good at their job. You will NOT be disappointed and they treat you like family. Also, they will keep in touch with you no matter what, If I was to purchase another house they who I will call. Thank You , Top Tier Solar you are the best, at what you do, you guys are aim to please your customers. Thank You.

I recently posted a review about Top Tier had not had my system turned on within the time promised, so I was paying and electric *** and solar ***. The owner called me an apologized for how the situation was handled. That individual had quit so he was handling things to get my system turned. He said my system will be up and running in about 2 to 3 weeks. All I ask is keep me informed. He took care of last months ***. He said," Nobody should be paying 2 bills".with that said I change my rating and Top Tier Solar Solutions 5 stars.

Every interaction we have had with the Top Tier team has been great! They patiently answered all of our questions and didnt pressure us to make a decision immediately, but let us really examine the evidence and make sure this was the best thing for our family situation. The salesman was personable and honest. The managers are helpful and keep us informed of the process and progress. The installation team was neat, organized, professional, and was able to handle challenges quickly and efficiently. We look forward to reaping the benefits of going Solar! Great service & a great product! Top tier stays on top of their game 100% of the way. From design, to install, through connection, all of our questions were always answered promptly. Thanks to *** and team, our transition to solar couldnt have been any smoother. We planned just enough to cover our cooling and lighting cost but also our vehicle charging costs! This has virtually eliminated our *** bill, with enough left over energy to cover an extra charge or so for our electrical vehicle. This is a great company! I love the fact that its veteran owned being a fellow veteran! This company treats you like family! Theyre always available for me! I love the fact that everything is American made! When they install the panels they pay attention to details and make sure to respect the customers home! You can actually reach real people without jumping through hoops if you have any questions or concerns! Theyre guaranteed work and warranties are great! As we started our solar journey with Top Tier, we have had a lot of communication issues. The process definitely took way longer than expected and we were not updated like we should have been. Them putting up the panels went fantastic. They were thinking a 2 day job, but was done in 1 day. We ordered a battery and that is when the communication really started to be a problem. After to speaking with 2 people in leadership, I was finally sent over to *** who is "one of the big wigs". *** has made the very last steps very smooth and has been willing to help in anyway possible. We're looking forward to using our panels and seeing a difference.

Excellent service from start to finish! I hadnt really thought about solar before but one day I got a random knock at the door. The young lady named *** introduced herself and who she worked for. She said was driving by and saw my house and said how it was perfect for solar. We sat down and she told me all about the process. I gave her my recent utility bills and she went to work on how many panels I would need and how much money I would save. I was sold. After getting approved it only took a few weeks for them to install my panels! So glad I did this before summer so I could start saving money! Happy customer here all thanks to the lovely lady ***!

I have to admit that at first I was skeptical as the door knocker came to pitch me on Solar. After listening I agreed to set up a consultation with a technician. The technician that came was respectful and NOT pushy which made me feel comfortable to sign up with them. Through the permitting process it wasnt perfect on Top Tiers end. However, any mistake that was made was promptly dealt with and taken with the upmost seriousness. A month after we signed on our panels got installed. We have now had panels for 8 months and couldnt be happier. We are only paying 14$ per month to *** for our connection fee. I have since referred all my neighbors and family and Top Tier has taken care of them. Im not usually one to leave a review but this company deserves it.

First, I would like to say that Top Tier has a fantastic group of staff, *** she followed everything to T. great customer service. The support group are very helpful they dealt with issues in a timely manner (no fault on their part) The installation crew *** and *** were awesome did a fantastic job! They were very approachable, when it came to my concerns. At the end of the day my family was sad to see these guys go felt like they had become part of our family. The quality of the materials and the product being used was good stuff happy to know its America-made that the company was owned by retired veteran.Overall, I would recommend this company to anyone who's thinking of going solar. We will be using them again on our second home in the near future!

I recently "December 2022" had my first solar system installed by Top Tier solar solution. Wow! What an amazing company. I was alittle nervous at first because it was a door to door sales, but since its a Military friendly based organization, I decided to listen. Two months later, I have a new 8 panel system that is virtually invisible from the road. The installation was quick and very professional. I was actually at work and allowed the Guys to conduct their business unsupervised. They even moved my vehicle (with my permission) so that no damage would occur while climbing and working on the roof. Get this, from start to finish, not a single *** out of my pocket for installation. They handled all city inspections, approvals for installation as well as fees charged by the state. I have worked with a few people during the process as I progressed through each phase, and everyone was fantastic including ***, and ***, as well as *** . I highly recommend Top Tier solar solution 100% to anyone thinking about a solar system.

It has now been 4 MONTHS since I got my solar panels installed and they still ARE NOT WORKING. The Top Tier salesperson that came knocking at my door was very eager to have me agree on going Solar with them and applying for the $25,000+ loan and even had their team out to install them in less than a week of me signing on with them. I was pretty excited BUT since the install date back in October my system inspection has FAILED FIVE times so far and I still havent utilized my investment. Ive called and talked to a couple project managers a few times every month since install and they keep feeding me ***. The last inspection done by Mecklenburg County took place on January 6th (which obviously failed) and someone from Top Tier finally came out a few days later to fix the problems. I got on the phone with the regional manager and of course he assured me that I will be taken care of and kept trying to feed me more ***. I am beyond disappointed with this company and strongly suggest to look elsewhere if youre considering going solar. This has been the most frustrating experience ever and I like to consider myself a pretty patient person.

In the spring of this year, I agreed to have solr panels installed and activated on my residence. I was told at the time that the I would receive 2 months free and begin payment on the panels at the end of June 2023. I travel a lot so I needed to coordinate with the installation. All of that worked out quite effectively. The trouble started when the actual activation process began.

I was unaware that a copy of my current energy bill was required. Several weeks went by and nothing was happening. Eventually I received a call from Andrew at Top Tier informing me that a copy was needed. I texted him a copy to the number he provided within 24 hours. Several weeks then went by. I received a text from someone at top tier requesting a copy of the bill I already sent. I informed her that I had already done so. I checked my phone records, and indeed I had. However, I was then informed that Top Tier had no record of the bill. I asked that an email address be provided since it did not appear the text channel was very effective. I was texted an email address and I sent another copy. I also asked for confirmation.

I then received an email from Top Tier with attachment. The email explained that I needed to sign the attachment and submit it. I assumed that Top Tier had received my email with attached copy of my energy bill. I signed the attachment and submitted it. I got a response that the signed attachment was received. The next day I received a server message saying the email address I got from Top Tier, (the one I used to send a copy of my energy bill), could not be sent. The address was non existent. If all of this sounds confusing, I would agree. In my opinion it qualfies for the nightmare level of confusing. I replied to Top Tier that I was confused. Did they find the original text (after about 20 days), and continue the process? Apparently, they did not get the email copy I sent, so they must have eventually found the text with attachment they said they didn't get. I asked for an explanaton. I haven't heard anything.

In the meantime most if not all of my grace period where I would have been able to use the solar panels has evaporated. I have continued to pay for electricity using my existing utility. The benefit I was sold didn't happen. In fact, I am unclear as to what the current status is. This has been a complete comedy of errors and I have been on the receiving end of it. I question the ability of your organization to provide effective service. If I had to do it again, I would not. In fact, at this point, I would rather have someone come out here remove everything and go away permanently.
