Tokyo Express Overseas moving service scam

This company will give low estimates and take your money. Once you move to your new destination, they will claim fees increased and demand you pay large sums to receive your goods. There are countless stories describing this on many sites, including their Google reviews. They do not answer emails or phone calls. They have been in trouble with the police several times

We paid over 1 million yen to the CEO, Mr. Ueno Kazuhiro of Tokyo Express Co LTD Moving Company to ship my family's household goods from Yokosuaka, Japan to Maryland, United States.
