This doctor is a monster. He destroyed my body and now I'm permanently scared. My stomach is bumpy and has a long line through it, I can't even describe how bad it looks. I was 105 lbs. when I went in there, so no, I wasn't overweight. I won't undress in front of my husband now. The only way to repair the damage is with a tummy tuck. I've seen 2 plastic surgeons to see what they could do to help, and they have both offered to help me with a lawsuit. They say it was malpractice in their options. I can tell you one of these dr's is well-known and in Beverly Hills, CA. Dr. Malan didn't numb me all the way and started jabbing me with the steel canula and separating the tissue from my abdomen by prying it apart while I was awake and not numb. He said the numbing solution was being spraying in the cavity between the skin and abdomen. It was barbaric. He is not a plastic surgeon. I am filing a complaint with the AZ medical board. I want to make sure this dr never disfigures another person.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Patient satisfaction is of utmost priority for my staff and I. I pride myself on my ability to accurately evaluate my patients’ needs and my ability to meet those needs before considering surgery. Many of my patients have already had previous surgery by another doctor that did not turn out well and come to me for corrective work. Doctors travel from all over the world to attend my courses on advanced liposuction and fat transfer. I am a frequent featured speaker and cosmetic surgery text book author. Nationwide 20% of all patients that have liposuction require a second corrective procedure. My patients have a touchup rate of less than 5% and we offer free touchups. According to our records we have never treated a patient by this name. Perhaps our competition or an angry ex-employee made this posting. It is a bit fishy that after many years of practice without any internet complaints that suddenly this website has several postings all within a few weeks apart from the time we fired an employee who threatened to smear my reputation. If this truly is a statement made by one of our patients then I implore you to contact us and let me evaluate your results and advise you regarding how to fix the problem. Liposuction is not always about perfection but if you are unhappy lets fix it. I have hundreds of postings over the years from hundreds of happy patients. This one posting which has been reposted many times on many website by someone who we cannot even confirm is one of my patients should not tarnish a reputation based on my dedication and skill.

I am sorry to read this complaint, but i'm also a bit surprised. I work at Dr. Malans office and we pride ourself on 100% patient satisfaction. We know we are judged fully on our patient results so we would take an unhappy patient very seriously. Dr. Malan even offers free touch-ups to ensure patients are always looking and feeling great. I looked up your name in our patient files and could not find ANYTHING. If this is a valid complaint - not the disgruntled ex-employee who has been trying to sabotage our online profiles - please contact our office immediately so we can correct this problem. We are comitted to ALL patients and, if you truly are a past patient, we want to speak to you immediately.
