At the beginning of December, I ordered $270 worth of cigarettes from Tobaccocapital.com. I saw all the good reviews on this board and assumed it was safe. I had to pay through google pay, and could only use a debit card, 2 red flags there. The money was sent to Ken Baxter. My order never arrived. 3 weeks later, I sent an email to customer service and got a snarky response not to contact them until it had been a month. One month passed, next email to them was returned to sender, no address found. I went to the website and got a 404 error, website not found. This scammer took my money then shut down his site. I am sure he ripped off a lot of people.
Upon investigating the website, I found it is owned by Ken Baxter. This information is available on the website WHOIS. The email address listed for him is returned to sender as non-existent.
On this complaint board, there were hundreds of good reviews for tobaccocapital.com. Now all of a sudden, those reviewers are gone, along with tobaccocapital.com. All of a sudden there are good reviews for Cigoutfitters.com. So I went to that website, and it looks exactly like tobaccocapital's website. researching further on WHOIS, it seems that cigoutfitters.com has the same owner Ken Baxter as tobaccocapital.com. And it says that both websites were acquired at the exact same date and time. Both have the same email address for Ken Baxter. Tobaccocapital.com stole my money and shut down, and has now reopened as cigoutfitters.com.
7 different indivduals have been repeated plugging cigoutfitters.com on this site, posting their "Good" reviews on all the threads, since tobaccocapital.com mysteriously disappeared. Despite claiming to have been open for a while, they have only been open for 2 weeks.
I was severely frauded by this person Ken Baxter. I am urging everyone to please, do not buy from cigoutfitters.com. You willl only be contributing to this person's bad behavior. You will never receive anything except a headache. And DO NOT believe any of these good reviews for either company. It is the owner Ken Baxter writing all these fake reviews.
If you have been scammed by either of these companies, please file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and the FBI internet fraud division. The more who complain, the more they will investigate.
Also, Ken Baxter owns cigroad.com and cigmania.com. Both were heavily advertised here on these boards, and they also mysteriously disappeared along with everyone's money.
Stogieexpress.com is a scam website. He will steal your money and never send any goods. Do not buy from stogie express !
Stogie Express is a fraudulent site. Same owners who own tobacco capital and cig outfitters. You place an order, it takes you to google pay to pay Ken Baxter, same as the others. I lost money, never shipped, total scam!
Now this creap has opened stogieexpress.com. Ken Baxter and Kim Davis are scam artists. Do not buy from stogieexpress.com. They will only steal your money.
I ordered through cigoutfitters.com for the first time based on all these positive reviews on this board. They never shipped my product, I can't get in touch with them. This is BS ! I notified the dept of commerce, lost $112.
I never received my order from cigoutfitters.com. Very unprofessional, flippant, and unethical business. I was leary sending money thru google pay, will never do that again. Tobaccocapital.com disappeared through slight of hand. The owners kim davis and ken baxter also own cigoutfitters.com. They spam this board with good reviews to boost their google search. I hope they are busted soon.
Cigoutfitters.com is definately a scam website. They stole $172 from me, never sent my goods. The web states there are two owners, Kim Davis and Ken Baxter. I believe the FTC will find them.
