Tire Choice review: Battery replacement

Buyer beware

On 11-20-2021 went to tire choice #0124 north canton, ohio for an oil change. Was given a readout which showed my battery fails to meet industry accepted standards. Was then given a verbal quote for a new battery which I was told was competitive and/or less expensive than nearby stores. I agreed to purchase a new battery which they installed. The invoice included the battery and installation charge which totaled the price I was quoted. I left the store when another customer arrived and returned home. On 11-22-2021 I took a better look at the invoice and noticed a shop supply fee which I was not informed about this charge when quoted my price for the battery. Called the store and was told this was standard practice which is computed on total services performed. I asked if I only had the oil change would I have been charged this fee and the answer was no. This fee also has sales tax added to it. So if anyone goes in for a oil change and are told they they need something else I suggest you tell them no. This mistake cost me and I hope no one else gets fleeced like I was. This store and any other monro store has lost my future business.
