This Aint It! They should change their name. I was in town and visited this location, as I have heard about how good the Ox Tails were. I should have followed my first mind and exited, after waiting 20 min to place the order. Nevertheless, against my better judgement, like a fool I waited. My father who is 95 ordered 4 chicken wings, and I mistakenly ordered Ox Tails. There were no Ox Tails on the line, but they called out to the cooks in the back to prepare a plate of what was supposed to be Ox Tails. They then ushered us to the cash register and the total bill was $63.89. As we made way to the dinning area, I looked into the plate and there were 2 large Ox Tails pieces and 2 small one. They were very dark, and were covered with a gravy that did not come from no Ox that I had never seen. I made my way to the line and asked to see the manager, who look like the Ox they got the tails from. He told me that their policy did not allow for a refund, and became angry when I refuse to look at him while he explained to me something that I did not want to hear. I asked him again for my money and he refused. I went outside and called East Point Police Department for assistance. The officer explained to me that this was in deed a civil matter and outside of a criminal issue there was really nothing that he could do. I ask him could he at least talk to the manger? And he said yes. The Officer and the Ox went into the far dinning area and began to talk. Shortly after the officer ask me to join the conversation. The 500 lb manager stated, "I tried to give you the money, but you refuse to even look at me". Then the officer stated " Mam he tried to give you the money, but you were noncompliance" I told the officer. If he had agreed to give me the money, I would not have had a reason to call you for help? Then the 500 lb manager said " Your a liar! I did try to give you the money! Now the manager and the officer have joined forces, and the manager is creating a hostile situation in hopes that I would be stupid enough to become angry and become arrested, as I was already heated about $63.89. I told the 500 lb manager that I recognize the enemy when he comes at me, and that he was not smart enough to trick me off the streets! And I Bounced. As I sat in the car, my 95 year old father, who was troubled by what had happened. Went back inside and asked the 500lb manager for a meal equivalent to the $40.00, which was the cost of the 4 Ox tails that were on the plate. AND HE SAID NO! In conclusion. Here you have a 95 year old customer, who is on a limited income, was actually robbed without a gun, By This Aint It. Who refuse to give a replacement meal to a 95 year old man, that spent the last few dollars in his pocket to take his daughter out for dinner as she visited the Atlanta area? This is Very Sad! And not a good look for your business. The amount of negative publicity that I am about to inflict on This Is It? Will cost you more than $63.89. This I PROMIS! This is Just The Beginning!
