The Single Gourmet of South Florida review: Harassment 1

Several years ago I joined this organization after Tom told me that it was $100 for the year and then dinners were around $40. As soon as I got their schedule I realized every dinner was about $70 and above.When I called to ask for a refund since they did not represent what they had to offer correctly. They very rudely refused and told me I heard what I wanted to hear. It wasn't worth fighting. On 12/30/13 I received a phone call from Tom at Single Gourmet asking me if I knew that my membership was about to expire. When I told him I wasn't interested his exact words were, "There's a reason why some people are still single." Tonight, 10/14/14, I received a call from the above number, registered to Barry Adelson in Deerfield Beach. A man introduced himself as Tom and asked me if I wanted to renew. I told him that I wasn't satisfied before and take me off their list at which point he started screaming at me. I hung up on him. He then called back. I told him if he called again I'd file harassment charges. He then said the following and I quote "You are a ###ing [censored]." Not sure what planet this company is on but that is not acceptable anywhere here. BTW I checked with the State of Florida online and this business is not registered with the state which means they are operating illegally. The address associated with the phone number he called from is 597 NW 46th Ave, Deerfield Beach, FL [protected]. I believe Barry Adelson owns this company.
