The Service Professor review: Never again

Hired these guys to install a new hot water heater. While unpacking the new unit, one of the installers tried to toss aside packing material and threw it onto the hood of our car, leaving an impressively sized dent. The crew immediately took responsibility, called the office, and we were informed that someone named Dave would be in touch soon to set up repairs.

After six weeks and multiple unreturned phone calls, I began posting our experience on various review sites, and finally got a return call. "Dave" apologized, offered a settlement figure, and I accepted it. Incredibly, they immediately pulled another disappearing act. We have not heard from them since, and no settlement has been received.

How these people manage to remain in business with a complete absence of honesty or integrity is incomprehensible to me. We will be taking them to court, and here's a tip for the clowns running this company - you are not only going to pay for the damage you caused, but in light of the pitiful way you conduct business, you are going to pay much more.
