I bought a Hotpoint Electric Dryer in April 2022 with a 5 yr protection plan. It's not heating , could be a fuse or a thermal ignition. I called the warranty company about having it fixed. It still worked, it just doesn't heat. They want to refund the money for the dryer or I pay for someone to fix it and may be reimbursed. I am not happy about this. That was the reason for the protection plan and I cannot afford to just wait for a refund and go purchase a new dryer. Why should I when it's just a year old.
