The Help Group review: Unfair treatment of employees and students

On October 25, 2022, I was left to teach and care for 13 moderate to severe special needs students with only 1 teacher assistant, which is out of compliance with the state rules and regulations of ration of staff to students. As well as my teacher assistant and I never received a lunch break, which this isn't the first time this happens to me or my fellow teacher. As well as we had an emergency fire drill and no help, one student stayed alone because I couldn't get him to evacuate with the rest of the class. In that time my teacher assistant had to take the rest of my 12 students to a safe area but in that 2 students eloped and were lost on the campus. As much as I asked for help no one cared or helped even though I sent emails to HR. I actually still haven't had my emails responded to. If it had been a real fire students at this special needs school would have died. There are many things out of compliance and unethical that happen at this school to students and staff.
