I contacted the college network in 2008 approx. I was interested in their LPN to RN program. A lady came out to meet with me and I was in formed that the CN was an accredited program as was Excelsior who would be giving the tests at the end of the modules.
I was not sure if I wanted to go thru w/ enrollment because I am the type of person who learns by seeing, listening and asking questions.I didn't feel like I could learn as well from just reading alone. When I brought this up to the CN Rep who came to discuss the program w/ me I was told I would receive materials to study thru the mail but that I could also go online for interactive learning with an actual instructor and they had instructors available to take calls from students.. hahaha
What a joke! A blatent lie!
They had no interactive program. No acedemic staff to answer questions when I called. It was all a sham!
What it was, was the same module that I got in the mail only on the computer. I guess hat was their idea of interactive learning.
I unfortunately wasn't able to get my RN thru this program. I used one module and that was it! I couldn't learn that way.
That Rep lied and told me exactly what I wanted to hear just so I would sign up and I did.
In my opinion that company had nothing but willfull & malicious intent to defraud potential students and would say anything to make a sale. Which is unethical and against the law.
I paid up front and I too want my $$$ back stat!
